As for the line/disappearing glitches, they are mostly transparency issues and i can't do anything with it...

Wow. Really nice artistic mini game there Mike. =)

Kinda wish it had a cute soundtrack -- i think that'd make the feeling complete.

But the character animations were really excellent! as well as the starry sky and background effects.

Took me 3 play-throughs to completely understand (i think?) the game mechanics. Wish I knew some of the deeper meaning behind what you've put here. =) The first time I died it semi-shocked me.

I did encounter a bit of glitching though -- there were some weird vertical line artifacts on my well, and on some of the balls. The ones on the balls disappeared when I picked them up though.

Once again, I wish I had just a fraction of your talent. You really must share some of your techniques.

Gameplay - Undecided! I'm sure the whole point of this game is that you must work out the sequence of actions to stay healthy and walk the minimun distance. However, I have yet to figure out how to do that I would discuss my frustrations, but it would probably spoil it for others.

Leavng your previous attempts on the screen is a nice touch, by the way

I liked this mini game it was a good uses of basic pencil drawing to make a very styleized looking game, a bit of a simple game it could be use to make a good side scrolling game, like a shooter or basic rpg instead of a puzzle game, maybe even a point an click advencher game like the old discworld series.

I have yet to play your old game Towers of Illusion which looks prity good, I hope you do more to this 2D game (How), I would like to see this in the wip thread same day with biger game land scape run around with bady / NPC with the same style as the girl.

There has got to be a better place to upload this to. Get a free google site or something. It's free! In my opinion SendSpace is the worst download site since... well. It reminds me crappy download sites from 8 years ago.

I'd love to play this game, but SendSpace says it will take 38 days to download...

I don't really understand what you're supposed to do, but I can say that those character animations were superb. Your style is easy on the eyes but not so simple that it's a paint product. Also, nice touch when she picks up the ball and it's pushin' up her chest. We can all appreciate that.

Nice game you have there. You are one that has good programming and good artistic skills (I'm serious). Well I never could do that kind of quality in Dark GDK, sadly...

I was searching through your past threads and (this is probably old news...), but I found The Illusion of The Tower (IOTT) and some "Adult Viewer".

I got a few questions:

1. What is the .fbd file?
2. What is the .oac file?
3. What is the .anim file?

I guess it is Mike Inel's way to rename those files while run-time. Those formats arent Mike's created so you may open them up on hex editor and check header. Then just rename the files. Example .anim could be .png etc..

I could be wrong tho, but this is how it was on IOTT

.oac and .anim are files used in 'Enhanced Animation' plugin.
.fbd are just collections of images... (I used 'Gamecrypt' plugin for it)

Note: 'Why' is currently half-done...
