Spent an hour importing it in to FPS Creator, just for he hell of it.

Got really bored, and wanted to beat Toasty to the end result

No, I am not going to give you a download. Nor am I going to tell you how to do it.

You've seen FPSC content in Half-Life 2, now you've seen Half-Life 2 content in FPSC.

Nice, is that CoZ's weapon shader on it?

Just curious, why couldn't you tell us how...
I mean, if I wanted to do it... I'm sure I could find a way to
do it. I'm crafty. But, I mean, for the lesser people. I think
anyone old enough to model or make a game should understand how
copyrights and plagiarism works.

Excellent job, mate. Porting the animations must have been a nightmare.

For those of us looking to import HL2 and other source media...this should help.

Double Post

I got entities from HL2 into FPS Creator, but I'm having trouble merging the animations for the pistol much less figuring out how he synced the hand and pistol up...

@CG: Only bumpcubereflectalpha.fx.

@Claws: Not really, Source SDK comes with the base mesh/animation .smd files.

@AG: I didnt follow any tutorials, it was mainly just trial and error. I wanted to see how my first FPSC weapon would turn out, so instead of making a crappy model I used a HL2 one.

Cheating?

The only stage missed out is running the decompiler, selecting the pistol.mdl and hitting decompile. That gives you all the files that are with the SDK version.

I still had a lot of work to do.

Either its your Shader, or that you smoothed the model improperly, but it looks pretty bad.

Fix up the smoothing errors, it'll help, ALOT, it'll make it look much more natural.

Textures are also a little blurry too, :S.

Other than that, Good job.
