story:
you are a cop when you see that your wife has been rapped and killed in your apartment then you become an assasin of those mans(rappers and killers)
then 2 years laters you found out who where those killers and rappers that killed mary(wife)and you look for them ,but when you finally look at them... they are dead!

I remember that crate... Keith was that not your release? Em a World War 2 pack as I recall. I think i purchased that awhile back. Ooo 06 perhaps? God that feels so long ago.

As for the level, so far its pretty 'well lit' so with that in mind I hope the scares will be good since we should be able to see it coming...

(Im not one of those people that love darkness btw, Im just saying it may be alittle too bright).

Edit: Doh, whilst i was writing this you guys wrote alot! Anyway, thought it was yours. I remember wanting some generic crates and ammo boxes. Did you not also make better res textures for them too and give us the UV maps? Was that you or Jon's CorePak v1... Cant recall, actually that was another thing I bought way back when. I wonder if Jon has the installer still, would love to get that back off him. Obviously if I have the payment details.... But im getting way of subject here...

Hey there,

Yes that was a long time ago. The UV Maps were available as a separate download; the higher res maps were 1024x1024 (way too large for an object of that size....I now know). I've gotten much better with UV Map optimization, as well as texturing...since then. I do have plans on making a pack one of these days; but I've been away from modeling so long, I have to go back to basics again!

Wouldent happen to have those old files for me Kieth, I can find tghe paymetn info for you to verify I actually bought these. (unlike the guy above it would seem). Naturally if you don't that's all well in fine. =) I still remember been happy with some new items to play with back when it was rare to get custom media (Hell I remember all the problems we had solving the issue with getting weapons in! Now look we have multiple use for them thanks to mods and EAI's great work). Once more I seem to be going off topic here. Sorry =)

Also that image looks alittle better, try playing around with ambient lighting and then use dynamic lighting in places to highlight intresting details in level. Give's a great atomsphere effect.

Just a quick question: Why are there floating grave headstones on a marble floor? Are there graves under the marble? And why are they floating?

Other than that, it looks a little stretched an pixelly but I know thats not your fault. Maybe a little darker because I don't see anywhere an enemy could

I don't see anything resembling this "darkness" you speak of in your screens.

I also agree that darkness doesn't always make it scary (though it can be extremely effective if used right) its just your screenies don't seem to fit your description.

This looks good! I really like the atmos you got going on in there. I rally like it! It really like teh last screenies you've been uploading. but the outdoor scene doesen't look right to me. Is that ambulance flat? It looks little like it.

Bigsnake: I see you use pivot. That is an ok animation there. You should propably move the sticks more ans everything. But you'll get better in time! Check my pivors on youtube. MetalDevil123 is my user name.

Um, What resolution do you have those textures? They don't look real high quality. Besides that, I love your grungy style! (my favorite!) On the second to last screen, I would recommend making that light smaller in order to make the room more realistic. Great game!

The new screens look pretty good, just maybe have light sources for your lights, and the lighting isnt bad either.
