Another great newsletter. Just to point out to people that the closing date for the BIG FPSC Xmas Comp II is 1st February 2010, not 31st Dec as in the newsletter. |

lol in the BOTB section, it said "The Warehouse" instead of Canalyst. Good issue though, and I think I'll download DBP, I've never tried it. |

@Tutelage Systems I had the same problem until I realized its not actually in the list on the order history page. Right above the list there is a title in bold letters that says Free Downloads and a link to the download is there. This was an amazing newsletter!! So chock full of awesomness! (and free stuff dark peanut current projects: a game about a guy |

Yep; I noticed that too. By the way, PoK; could you give me wither proper links for your BOTB images, or send them to me? Yours are dead in the entry on the BOTB thread. |

Interesting rebuttal to DarkCoder's points... but if I recall correctly, didn't his original post (or one of the posts at least) specifically point out that those features should be possible without workarounds / half-implementations? I mean, anyone can get language XYZ to do ABC if they force-feed it, but I thought the entire point of his critique is that they should be features available as-is without additional effort 09-f9-11-02-9d-74-e3-5b-d8-41-56-c5-63-56-88-c0 |

And Lee's point is he agrees DBP does lack these features, but at the same time it is so powerfull in many other aspects. Its 6 one way half a dozen the other. DC and Lee are both right, but for the time being Lee and the rest of TGC clearly don't have the time to solve these issues with all of their other projects going, so Lee has taken the time to give us the best option for the time being, a workaround. |

No doubt adding some of those advanced features would create knock-on bugs this late in the language's life, and should probably be saved for the next full version. ![]() Senior Web Developer - Nokia |

Great Issue and I'm excited to see what the fpsc Variant is like. This is just what I need for my projects.. Thanks TGC for the model pack and congratulations for for the 10 years, I've been around since the beginning (under a couple of different names) and watched it all happen. |

My PC doesn't have an internet connection, can I still get an activation code sent to my email address? PS Will you send it to my login email address or the one I changed too on my profile? I don't really use the login one any more, is there a way of changing it to the new one? DBPro is a fantastic platform for RTS games like Command and Conquer, easy terrains, objects can be detected with the mouse (using PICK OBJECT), plus the AI plugin - I'm actually quite surprised that more people don't use DBPro for a RTS game. Check out Fallouts RTS project that never made it, but shows just what DBPro can do with that sort of game: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19bzR3cq520 |
