Hey guys, I tried to make a basic script so that when a certain gun is fired, it gives you health... But I can't manage to get it to work. I am applying the script to a dynamic entity which is always active, but no luck... Script: + Code Snippet Any help would be appreciated. |

Is this with Ply's Mod or Project Blue/Green? If you're not able to make weapon scripts (like you can with both Project Blue and Green) then you're going about it the right way, just change this line: :state=0,plrfiredweap=scifi\tavor, plraddhealth=2 To: :state=0,plrfiredweap=scifi\tavor:plraddhealth=2 You need to have that second colon in there If you are using Project Blue or Green, then I'd suggest doing this with a weapon script instead. Just make a script for your health-giving weapon and instead of using "fireweapon" to make the weapon shoot, set up a custom anim with your firing animation frames, play that custom animation and increase the player's health. It'll look much smoother and will work in ALL levels, not just the one with your script active. The one and only, |
