it says 'fpsc game has stopped working' and then it has an error report that closes the program.

I installed a directx sdk file from june 2010 along with another file that updated older directx versions from the microsoft.com website but before that FPSC x10 wouldn't even run in my windows 7 home premium at all without telling me I needed at least directx 10 to run the program. Doesn't windows 7 come with directx 11 already? But anyway, I got as far as being able to run the program, but not being able to use runtime tests yet. (something with direct3d missing or unable to be detected or etc)

So what exactly are the directx files or any files that I need in order for the runtime to work in 7? Are there files that just need to be moved into the FPSC folder? There is such limited support on this topic and I was wondering what files can support every aspect of this program in a newer windows OS.

Can you guys help me out?

well, I have a mac, but it is running windows 7 on it. I've gotten games on steam to work with the graphics card I have, but it says that steam hasn't found my graphics card in their database...wonder if it's the same case here. NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M
