Please check all your graphics in 1024x600 mode before submitting.

Please do not allow your software to use any resolution that exceeds 1024x600. I\'ve just had to return a users entry because they used the command

Set display mode 1024, 768, 32

On netbooks this causes the error:

Runtime Error 1507 - Display using 32 bit not supported by available hardware at line x

Ensure you\'re Default Setting is ALWAYS 1024x600, unless you have some way of detecting the screen resolution.

Please Check all sprites, huds and images in 1024x600 mode before submitting!

I\'ve just have to ask a user to resubmit their game with repaired graphics. The user developed the game at a resolution above 1024x600, this meant that all their sprites, and sprite based fonts, only displayed one quarter of the image.

If you do not have a display that supports 1024x600 you can emulate this resolution by doing the following.

1) Set the program to window mode
2) Use command Set Display Mode 1024, 600, 32

Run a visual check of your game, you will spot obvious errors when in this format. Fix the game.

When running at 1024x600 I recommend switching your game back to full screen exclusive mode. It performs the best, if you have no way of detecting what resolution a desktop is set too, please ensure that you set the game to 1024x600. If you wish to keep your game in a Window format, please do not exceed 1024x600, or set it to 1024x600 it must be smaller then the screen or it will go off the edges.
