Everything is (badly) explained in the "TO DO.txt" file
But what you should really do is:
1->open the "menu creator.exe" and first, it ask´s you how many maps do you have in your game (from 1 to 5)
2-> Now it ask´s you the
BACKGROUND of the menu, that is shown in the back.
Like is seen in the picture.
3->After choosing the background image, it ask´s you to choose the 1st map´s button. Select the "button.gif" from the "example files" folder, and see what happens.
4->After this, program ask´s you what image is shown in the background, when mouse in on the first button.
Select the "map1.bmp" from the "example files" folder.
5-> if you have more than 1 map, the program ask´s the very same files, as in the step 3, and 4. So, lets say, that you choosed 2 maps--->
6->"Program ask´s you to choose the 2nd map´s button. Select the "button.gif" from the "example files" folder, and see what happens."
7->After this, program ask´s you what image is shown in the background, when mouse in on the first button.
Select the "map2.bmp" from the "example files" folder.
8-> if you have more maps than this, just repeat steps 5-6
9-> When you have choosed all the image files for your menu, the program ask´s now the background music, that is playing on the background.
10-> Now, you MENU is done! Now you have to create folder for your game. Let´s say, that your folders name would be "my awesome game"
11-> Now, copy your real games folder in this "my awesome game" folder, and then rename the folder we just copied. Like this:
"my awesome game/map1" Now, there should be your games exe, in "map1" folder. Rename it as "map1.exe" Now the path should be like:
"my awesome game/map1/map1.exe" Now the first map´s button works in the menu, and you can run in to your game!
12-> If you have more maps, just repeat the step 11, but rename everything like "map2,3,4,5" And so on..
