This should help

I recall that it was re-written or updated a few months ago...

This has probably been asked a number of times elsewhere for the separate FPSC Model Packs (and sorry if it has been answered previously), but what are licensing restrictions for them (especially the Bond1 Super Deal ones; but also for the ones included in the AWESOME Game Maker Xmas Pack 2012)? i.e. can they be used (as is or modified) in the other development tools of DBP, AppGameKit, and FE or only for FPSC?

no they will not work
I own 3d game maker and i can't figure out what they updated. it doesn't seem any different and you can't find any info about it. It's very limited and not very good.

The 3D Game Maker isn't meant as a serious game making tool nor anything that's meant to modded into something useful. It's more of a toy and is meant for kids, just as something to inspire creativity.

Also might be fun for others who have no programming knowledge. But it does sacrifice a lot of easy of use and simplicity. It doesn't mean you can't create anything good out of it, but it does lack a lot of flexibility.
