Thanks to everyone who backed AppGameKit V2.

We will ensure we'll work hard to bring you an awesome product.

Pledge prizes
We are now in the process of awarding AppGameKit V1 to all pledgers who paid £35 or more.

Kickstarter Pledgers
We have sent an email out from Kickstarter to all users who are due this prize. This is what it said;

Quote: "Hi,

This week we will be providing the AppGameKit V1 software to you.

This is what we need you to do before Friday of this week (Aug 16th);

Please setup a TGC account (using the exact SAME email as you used on Kickstarter). You can register your account here;

If you already have a TGC account using this email address then you don't have to do anything.

On Friday we will add AppGameKit to your TGC account.

If you cannot do this by Friday then contact us afterwards via the messaging system on Kickstarter and we'll manually help you.

I was thinking of changing my forum login (email) to match my Kickstarter account.

Obviously it needs to be clear so that we receive our V2 betas and final version.

Hi,

If you already have access to AppGameKit then you're good to go and you don't need to do anything. We're trying to link people up from Kickstarter who will be new to TGC.

If you use a different email on Kickstarter and have a TGC account and don't have V1 then we can manually sort this out. Just email me rick@thegamecreators.com detailing both email addresses.

When should we expect to receive our agk v1? I recieved an email saying payment was taken successfully a while ago but have not had the v1 appear in my products yet. No rush I'm just curious.

I guess AppGameKit will appear in "my products". The email does imply that they will only begin putting AppGameKit in accounts on and after Friday, so I expect AppGameKit by Tuesday. If this has to be done manually.

I haven't received mine yet either.

I am sure that they will have it done by the end of Friday but its got to take time even if its automated which i cant see it been due to that been to unreliable but they did put in the message

Yes we have issued the AppGameKit v1 versions. Not everyone on the list had setup a TGC account. If you are one of these people, setup a TGC account and contact us via Kickstarter.

Thanks guys. I immediately downloaded the BETA version and I've already got a working skybox and I'm well on my way to my first 3D game.

downloading the legacy installer, it's asking me for a serial number, had a look in the serial number page on the web nothing there, any ideas ?

Just got an email from Rick anyone (Kickstarter Backer) owning a copy of AppGameKit v1 before Kickstarter now has the right to use 2 copies of AppGameKit v1,so no additional AppGameKit v1 is added to the my products page.

Congratulations to TGC on the success of their Kickstarter campaign and thank you (and the community) for this generous bonus reward.

I downloaded AppGameKit V1 last night and everything's seems to be working fine which is great.

I also thought it was a nice touch to add in the free chapters from Teach Yourself Game Programming as part the download.

What does this mean in terms of licenses (or more specifically serial numbers)?

I have purchased many copies of AppGameKit v1 before and they all showed up in MyProducts (included in the Qty field under the product name). I expect to have the free KS version included in this total and a new serial number provided for this copy - is this not so?

I will send a note via the KS messaging system as well to see if that method brings any more joy.

gold backer via paypal...

if you pledged using paypal... do you still get the bonus stuff listed on the kickstarter page of the equal value?

And I was also wondering if I need to send more money for the shipping of my t-shirt? If I get one?

I am sort of worried about not receiving any of the stuff promised. Especially since I have now moved. My registered address will stay the same for another couple of months and then, hopefully by then, the house will be sold. I do have a new mailing address. Who should I send it to?

Probably a stupid question, but is this where I pester someone for my backer badge? Or am I totally off base (as is usual) and hopelessly lost? It could go either way, I suspect.

Anyway, great product, off to a bit of a rocky start (or so I gather from lurking/reading around the forums), so I'm not feeling too pushy just now. Just wanted to get correctly situated, that's all.

Curious. Your pledge should have included AppGameKit V1 as well.
