Thanks for sharing this Gekko. Can't wait for the English version

What software do you use to edit your videos (and is it free, and available on Windows)?

I only just got back into AppGameKit (finally had some time in between a full time job and moving).

I got V2.7.1 installed and was able to use the templates that came with it pretty much right out of the box for Windows, Mac and iOS.

And I was able to build and run my WIP in all.

So, I haven't tried your templates, yet.

After I tackle the Android version, I'll give yours a try.

Cheers,
Ancient Lady

I haven't used AppGameKit since months, but it's good to know that the standard templates work. I remember the old days, when with every release we had to find fixes and workarounds to make them work!

I have to say that even T1 is looking better, and many new features are good. The new audio commands and memblock extensions certainly have added a lot of power, so I'm a bit more confident that things are going in the right direction.

So nobody of you is releasing apps?
Wow i start to feel myself out of the world here

I asked Paul to eliminate "Extras" from AppGameKit Lite for iOS, they start to go in conflict with the one i do usually.

I'm fairly certain there are others who have released apps. Just look in the AppGameKit Showcase.

I'm working on apps but not in AppGameKit anymore. I have 2 projects almost done in AppGameKit which I have never released. I am in no hurry, I will wait for 1 more year to see if AppGameKit will be more featurefull as it's not worthit to redo from scratch. In the meantime I am happy with doing productivity apps in Delphi and casual games in C2. It's much more fun to use systems that have all the features and can deploy without problems

I worked with forum user Tornado once to create a t2 game (Dodge those Balls iOS) But apart from that I only use t1

im a basic user.... i cant be bothered to learn t2(c++) as basic for me can be coded soo fast without really thinking about it.

Its like pouring ready made gravy on the turkey...boom done! c++ to me is like ok...what ingredients do i need to make the gravy... ok how long to make that ...ok mix this with what... ok now it may be usable...pour on meat and test... eh i should have gotten takeout instead. lol!

i would like to learn c++ some time... but dang that basic syntax is soo easy it flows from my mind strieght to my screen.

Sure - But with C++ or Pascal you can have beef, chicken, pork, lamb, prawns, curry, ham, bacon, curry, sweet and sour. You can roast, boil, stir-fry, microwave or grill. AppGameKit Basic is a sandwich made by somebody else.

That's a good point, but t1 is still enough to make something like Ryder (with it's rather complicated physics engine), so it's enough for me
Although I started on a project a while back that would have required t2. I was going to use microphone input as well as pitch detection in it, something that's obviously impossible in t1

Edit: [sorry for the off-topic post...]

easter bunny - Yep. I do language labs. Guess what - you need microphone input. Years on there's still no microphone. Sad.

Hey BJ what are you using as engine now?

This week i will test again the HTTP timeout that stopped me to publish on Android 1 year ago.
I hope it could work as i hope Java could die

Delphi for productivity apps and C2 for game prototypes. Unfortunately AppGameKit is still way behind when compared to these 2 toolkits, at least for my needs of developing for ios & android.

i won't give up on AppGameKit but i will wait for next year, maybe things will look better and I can complete & release my 2 AppGameKit projects.

Does this include native share dialogue for iOS?
I'd really like to be able to do sharing via multiple apps, but there's no way to cover all apps (Twitter, FB, G+, imgur, ad nauseam).
And I HATE setting up Facebook for the apps, it is garbage.
I can do the native sharing in android pretty easy on T1 (I think), but T1 on iOS is very difficult to modify.
I might switch to T2 if I had a nice template like this with social media sharing features

Yes Naphier, the problem is that those social features changes every 2 months, so it's useless to include in AppGameKit in my opinion...
This is why i use my template using obj c.

In the future i will do another video adding Facebook code

I was more looking for how to use this:
SLComposeViewController

for native sharing.
I just need to be able to hijack agk::Message in xCode and I should be able to do it

Well if 3rd party libs in AppGameKit were updated regularly, like other SDKs do, it would not be a problem

It would still be a problem.
They can't cover all SDKs for the various social media.
It would be less of a problem if AppGameKit made more generic calls to obj-c and java methods. Then we could customize methods as needed instead of trying to figure out how to get access to such simple things!

I think with Steam, a lot of new users will buy AGk which is good for TGC

hopefully AppGameKit will continue to be developed after the KS milestones will be reached
