It will not run. Error .jpg attached. Fresh install Version U7.62.
Running on win 8.1 x64. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh, almost forgot, I'm not in compatibility mode.

If I recall correctly that error message is wrong and it actually means you should run it in compatibility mode. Also try running it as an administrator if you have that UAC jazz enabled.

I had the same problem as you, you should not use the editor updated 2010 but an older one, at the moment i am using an editor updated 2008, you can still use the other editor that you have on the same folder which is updated 2003 ("C:\Program Files (x86)\The Game Creators\Dark Basic Professional Online\Editor\"). I don t remember exactly the name, one is Editor and the other is EditorNew, just use the older one (you can see last modify is on 2003).
You can also find other editors maybe on the forum, as MrValentine suggested you, you can use Synergy, test it and see if you like it, i don't use it because functions folding is bugged and i must have that option because my project is getting big
