Hi

Is there a way to use SetTextScissor() and SetViewZoom() correctly ?


When I zoom or unzoom, the text is scissored, whereas I have used FixtextToScreen().
I would like to know if it's possible to fix the text with scissor too. We can't use SetTextScissor() with SetViewOffset() and SetViewZoom(), without change the scissor of the text ?

Every time you change zoom you also have to update the text and sprite scissors. Seems like a pain, but it's not as bad as you might think.
Here's the code from Wordspionage that handles updating of the scissor area.



Hope this helps. Zooming and scissoring can be quite confusing.
