:::::::UPDATE::::::::::
got reviewed here :
http://www.theandroidgalaxy.com/boxteroids-free/#

hello again everyone
i have been working on a few games lately and this is one of them.

Boxteroids is a black and white Asteroids Clone when instead of earning points for destroying boxteroids you gain seconds and try to survive the best you can the longer you can.

the game is pretty simple you have 2 joysticks one for steering this is the left one and one for flying the right one.

the game is very fun i got addicted to it myself which is kinda weird but cool.

some screen shots:

the game is uploaded to Google Play just waiting for the link.
as soon as its available i will post it here.

enjoy.

You're welcome haliop. It produces some great sounds and, as you say, it's fun just to play around with too.

A great tool.

Cool clone. Congrats on getting it up on google play.
I see you have others up as well, and I think they are all done with AppGameKit?
I think I remember the Lights one you did back when you first made it, so I am pretty sure that was in AGK. (unless I have it confused with another app)
It is a wonder you don't have an AppGameKit Developer Badge yet, with so many titles under your belt.
My testing device crapped out and I never replaced it.
I will definitely give this a try when I do have an android device for testing. (my only android device at the moment is a OUYA console)

The Atari 2600 clone of this game was a bit blocky too, but it was still fun.

haliop_New, I see you are in the 50-100 download range, and have 83 five star reviews lol... Whats your secret ? Did you do one of those paid services which offer you 5 star reviews ?

I have tried one of those myself in the past, but Google caught on to it and removed all the reviews I paid for...

thanks for the badge.

here is the trick:

on facebook you have about 100 groups or pages named like :
"App Review Exchange"
"Android/Iphone Review exchange"
you can figure out the other names as they are about the same and there are thousands of groups like this.

so you post your game link and say:

"hi i have this awesome new app please Review and G+ and i'll do the same for you"

so a lot of ppl doing just that, they download , rate and probably delete the app afterwards (you cant rate a game on google if you havent downloaded it"

so i spent about 3 days , reviewed other ppl apps and they reviewed mine.
its pretty simple and very efficient ...

ask more if you want to know more..

YAY! That was fun.
I just got a new phone up and running for testing games, and I am glad I remembered to come back to this thread and try this one out.

The controls were a bit difficult on my phone though, because I could not see any joystick or anything and I had trouble getting it to turn right.
It would only turn left unless I had my finger in the middle of the screen, which blocked my view.
Not sure if that was an issue with the phone or my fingers...

ZTE Whirl
3.5" screen
Android 4.3
1.2 ghz quad core processor

The screen is really small on this phone (needed that for my tests), so that may be my problem turning right.
This is just a pay as you go phone that you can buy off the shelf at your local dollar store.
No need to activate or load them with minutes if you have a WiFi for it to connect to. (has USB for direct APK download from PC as well)
Thought I would share that thought in case anyone else is looking for a cheap device for testing. (only cost me $20 on sale).
