HI guys:

am sure I remember a small design software the game creators introduced couple of years ago. where you can design buttons and bottle signs very quickly.

however, seems they tool it off the menu. do you know where I can get it from. (sorry I forgot its name.)

Hi basjak,

I sometimes use this website to make some buttons quickly, loads of options to create them just the way you want.

or this site to make logos and buttons too.

I recall there being a tool to create whole interfaces. I've been thinking about buying it.

obviously there are plenty of software with reliable price that you can design your interface, even Adobe is no longer expensive.

but I needed this software from the game creators because you can get some entities very quickly. what the name of this product? can't remember.

@braindead: Yep that's the one thank you . But how did you find it, I can't see it on the menu.

@George++: Of course you can rent the whole adobe package for 45/m.

You can still pick up 2D GUI HUD Creator v1 from The Game Creators store (while stocks last on the old v1 keys) then upgrade to v2.x from our website for free and we'll generate a new v2 key with download. You'll also get sent update notifications.

No need to install v1, as flash player is no longer required. Just go straight to v2.

v2.01 is out next week.

@basjak @BraindeaD

We've not been around the forums for a while as we had a few issues with getting our domains transferred after our hosting provider folded. I did post a message previous to this but the moderators obviously thought it was spam as we cant get into our old account atm. If you did get 2D GUI HUD Creator from The Game Creators, you can get your update from our website.

sorry, predictive text on my phone put the Garage games store. I did mean the Game Creators It'll be cheaper to buy v1 from here, then upgrade. We'll keep the price the same until the batch of keys allocated to TGC run out.

Sorry should have added the link, not sure what the forum rules are for that. Skinman looks good as an alternative, but its just a drawing tool and runs on Windows XP so it may not work on Win Vista/7/8+. 2D GUI HUD Creator has lots of prefabs/template and is starting to add drawing tools, so you'll have the best of both.
