Hello guys. Need help with possible bugs regarding the sensors commands.

So I was trying to use some commands that returns some data from Android phone sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope). However all of them returned 0 no matter what I did.

The commands that I tried includes:
GetRawGyroVelocityX, GetRawGyroVelocityY
GetDirectionX , GetDirectionY
GetRawAccelX, GetRawAccelY

They all returned 0.00, even when I used the accelerometer /sensors demo that came by default with AGK2.
I tested the existence of the sensors on my phones (GetAccelerometerExists, ect), and they were registered as 'exist'.
Tested them on Sony Xperia Z2 and ASUS Zenphone 6. Didn't work on both. But other apps from GoogleStore that utilizes those sensors works fine.

Any idea of what's going on? Is this a known bug? Because I've found nothing on this.

Thanks for your attention . And also great job with AGK2 guys, it works like magic!

There does seem to be an issue. I have used them previously - and successfully - in V1.

I just ran the sensors demo (pasted below). Orientation works. Latitude and Longitude are correct. But the gyro, velocity etc are all zero for me too.

[EDIT] ...and they're back!

I don't know whether it was just waiting (about 2 minutes) or leaving teh app with the home button, then going back in that got it up and running again.

Either way, we need some kind of notification of the state of affairs.

OK, it seems to be leaving the app by the home button, then going back in that fixes it. I even added a delay either side of starting GPS but this didn't help.

I've also left the tablet waiting for a while, and waiting doesn't fix it.

I'll report it in the 2.0.11 thread.

Thanks for reply BatVink. It works!
Using your method of going to home screen and back, the command seems to be returning some values.
But the issue still presents with normal usage.
I'll just count on you guys to squash this bug. Thanks a lot Batvink!

They appear to work just fine on v2.0.10. I'll update to 2.0.11 now to see if that breaks it. (Using Windows IDE, testing via broadcast on Samsung Galaxy S2, Custom build 4.1.2 Android).

....

Confirmed! Completed update to V2.0.11 (Windows IDE & Android Player APK) breaks the sensor commands. Getting all Zeroes from Accel, Mag, Prox, Light and Gyro.

...also confirmed that going to home screen and back to player kicks them all into life.

I'm still getting this error when broadcasting, the suggested fix of leaving with the home button and returning works. I'm using the steam version, is it just a little bit behind on the updates?

It should be in 2.0.12, there has been no release since it was confirmed as fixed in next version.
