Hi all,

I saw two posts from Wizzkid that he had made an alternative IDE for AppGameKit, called Codex IDE. All the download links he provided, however, were broken, and I didn't find anything from Google, either.

So, does anybody happen to know where can I download the IDE, or even better, does someone have an installer laying around?

Please, I hope someone can help me because I would like to try this one out.

Thanks,

Codetrasher

Hi,

The download link should now work again (http://beginninghere.co.uk/CodexBeta3.zip). Apologies, I have been changing web hosts and lots of links are down.

Thanks

Oh yeah, baby! Thank you very much! I'm gonna fire it up as soon as I get home from work. Are you still developing this? Ooh, can't wait to try this out because I'm so frustrated with AGKv1 IDE...

Right now development is on hold. Im quite busy currently with other stuff, and the fact the AppGameKit is still in a state of flux due to the ongoing development of AppGameKit v2.

Once AppGameKit v2 is finished I intend to start working on it again. I want to look at the default AppGameKit IDE, see what I think I could do differently and also see what new features there are in the engine and see if I could make any IDE tools to make development any easier.

I look forward to working on it again, but I want to know exactly what I am working towards before I begin putting the effort in.

Hope you like it!
