Here is a link to my entry into the 2004 Retro Remakes competition. The game is called Still No Escape, and it's a remake of the old 1983 Atari 2600 game No Escape.

Well, hell. What do I have to do to get the screen shots to display? Do I need someone else to host them?

yeah. angelfire unfortunantly doesn't allow remote linking.

You'll have to find a nicer host.

My best score so far is 2845 but should be able to improve when I play later.

Nice challenging game. Well done

Good luck with the competition

Currently re-writing the game and re-doing sprites for 800x600 (was 640x480)
This game will get a release soon.

Not too bad although a bit hit and miss on later levels when the baddies start shooting you. Seems to be just a matter of luck if you survive or not, but I understand this was the way in the original as well.

I never played the original but browsing around the net I found lots of screenshots and it does seem to be a pretty faithful conversion.

Well done, and good luck.

Boo!
