This program lets you calculate the alpha channel for any image with a variety of operations and settings. Save a 32-bit TGA with alpha channel, for use with CShop or another program.

Download the program:

Is this going to be a pay tool, or bundled app with C5?

Go to Help>Register. You can get it right now. I spent two days on this, so I want to make a little money back on it.

It is an optional alternative for alpha generation, but if you're up to speed on PSP or PB, then it isn't a problem is it.

Paul.

Don't you want to create a rename app that you sell?
*sorry but this thing should be part of CS5 as well as the material thing you created as the engine will surely use them*

Did it ever occur to you lot that the app may be distributed as part of CS5. And like I said, it is an optional extra for creating alpha channelled textures, which there are alternatives that cost nothing.

Ergo......

read the thread or just joshs postings and then reread your posting.

I have Texture Maker and PS6, don't have any problems with alpha ... otherwise I would use Pixia 3

It's only $10. I am not going to buy it because I already have other software. CShop is a level editor not a texture editor. I see no reason to include this with it. $10 is a little much for a program made in 2 days but I didn't make the price. If you don't want to buy it then don't. There are free alternatives.
