hello all !
I'm actually working on a doom like. Nothing really innovating but I think it's good for a db game .

Comments are welcome

It's made in DBPro.

Math89 it's very good. Your Doom-Like has been very popular in the French DB Forum but here, we will see.

And you improved it! The enemys was static on the french DB forum Demos. Cool!

Wow, that's easily one of the best FPSes written in DBPro I think I've ever seen. All you need are better monster models and it'd be good enough to actually sell.

He (or she) should sell the game. IT IS SICK! I think that it would sell great. I am curently developing a similar game. Are you using Cartography Shop for the levels? Your graphics are great! Keep it up!

No he's not using CShop. He can use it, but i am not him, i dont know everything about it...

If he do like before, he make differents level editors in DBPro for each of his games.

And Math89, your Doom his really improved from the version of the french DB forum.

And sorry to answer for you...

WO man! great game so far! How did you make that lighting? cause you just can use 8 lights.. Do you replace them around the player? so you see only the closest lights.. I'm interessted in this . Very nice, Video 2 looks the same as doom III on low quality..

nice work!

Looks quite smooth. Wish the videos were higher quality.
I like the door lock system. Is that a scriptable switch, like Doom 3?

Can't wait to see more.

@KLU 007 : I don't think sell my game cause I'm 16 years old and I don't really want make money with my products. (and

@Anime Blood : You can run with shif and use buttons or doors with the rmb but you can't jump or crouch

@Joep : lights are all dbpro lights. I replace them around the player as you think.

@Jiffi : Yeah, it's the male voice of fps creator

Thanks all for your comments

In dbpro. That is not really difficult if you know how to save your maps (I think it's easier than in c++)

Could you release the editor? It can make some nice looking levels. I am creating a game right now. I am going to release it to the public by finding some shelf space, but I am only 12. I think that you should release the game. After four years of game developing, I think that I have found some good marketing plans, and I think that you could too. You should DEFINATELY sell this one.

I think that the most of us make an editor for the levels in their games.. Else you have MUCH to code to complete your game

I'll not release the editor cause it is a bit hard to use (it looks not really professional) and it's not only a map editor, I can place entities (player, ennemies, lights, simple events...). Entities are not the same in all the games, my editor is only made for this game.
Sorry
