Experienced and up to date DB programmer?

I spent 2.5 years (1999-2002) writing the game Scratch The Dog's BackYard Adventure. Download the free demo at:

www.scratchthedog.com

The game plays reasonably well (especially since it was written in DB 1.09), but there are a few issues with the game save menu and alt-tabbing in windows. Rather than letting the full release development remain dormant, I would like to release it as a "learn by example kit" for aspiring game developers. My intention, at this time, is to release the binary exe file plus source code & template models as a kit.

However, I would like to port it over to current versions of DB and DBPro, and add some tutorial/help files on the coding side.

If you feel you may be upto the task, please play the free demo version at scratchthedog.com, and contact me at scratchthedog(at)yahoo(dot)com.

Please provide information about anything you feel is relevant in qualifying your ability to contribute to this project.

No monetary compensation is being offered at this time, however, business proposals are welcome.

There are actually several levels, but not available in the demo

If it looks familiar, it is from 2000ish when it was first being developed.
