5.10
-added confirm to save changes, if map has been altered
-much faster rendering and selection
-brush and mesh rendering can be toggled on/off
-added show fps option
-added "extrude face" CSG tool
-added hide/show objects and subobjects

New Extrude Face csg tool. I created a tube, selected every other outer face, then extruded to make a gear:

Will the v5 file format be similar enough so we can easily change over from 4.1 to it? Or will we have to totally scrap our stuff and start over?

I guess that means it will be close enough so we can modify our code a bit to load v5 files

No, actually the format is quite different. However, there will be better export support.

How does one qualify to beta test CS5.10 if they own CS4?

CorDox I think you need to sine up to JoshK's dev network or what ever it is called ( You need to pay). You then get to be a beta tester and get textures every month.

Yeah, you need a membership at www.leadwerks.com to be a beta tester.

If there wasn't a 3 month neccesary subsription, I would definitly sign up. But I don't care for the texture packs

It's part of the membership. And the textures are extremly usefull. You also get some good mesh packs as well.
