It's become a habit for us in the #coding room to have small competitions, where we end up making some very nice things. We're currently compiling a list of ideas for the compo. So far we have:

A game where you destroy planets!

Make your own messenger and server, with your own protocol.

The creation of a game that is less than 100KB in size(minus the exe). Genre will be decided if this is picked as the compo theme.

The creation of a DBP IDE in under 24 hours.

Well, that would be good, and strangely fitting, but the site that they were kept on was down within a few hours of the compo ending. Airc is on aura.dbspot.com, but that's the new version, which isn't actually usable as it's not finished. I'll quickly make it usable and upload it in a minute though.

Better make that a few hours.

I like the idea of creating a game in less than a certain crampy size, but the EXE size has to count too or people will start abusing the inline data thingies.
