Nice.

The 3D intro looks better with a SYNC RATE, PCs probably a bit faster than when you originally wrote it

BatVink, thanks but since that is DBC (which runs in fullscreen exclusive) the max fps will always be 60

I have some more on the computer upstairs, but im too lazy to go all the way up there. and i cant connect to it from here, cant even ping it so ill add them later

i also have a Day/Night Cycle (early version, but fully functional) but i wrote that for "Pirates of Port Royale" so i dont know if Gil (team leader) wold be too thrilled about me giving out the source.. and i have a Talk System (morrowind style). (also for "POPR")

(my previous post totally collapsed when trying to add the tutoral below, so ill just post some on this post aswell)

DBPRO - File Browser

DBPRO - object converter - converts to dbo

DBPRO - TUTORIAL 01 - Basic Input

This is some very very great stuff Lucas. Spot light on you. However, I think it would be overly generous of your to polish you AI demo. I would but I'm not sure how. I am definetly including credits for any of this stuff I use. Post more tuts, you're very good at writing them. Later.

That file browser is amazing! I'm going to check some other things out too. Have you added these to the codebase yet? If not you definitely should because these are awesome

Btw: Are you still interested on expanding your zombie hunter to version 1.8. I'll check out the code, if its not to advanced, I'll help make a newer version for kicks. I needa reinstall DBC real quick though.

[edit] Dag yo, can't find dbc anywhere lol. Maybe if I find it later i'll let you know [/edit]

cool, thanks

no i haven't added anything to the codebase iirc.. maybe ill do it some day.

yeah i would like for someone or myself if it comes to that to try and upgrade my zombie hunter game to 1.8. it would be nice. but right now i cant think of anything to update.. maybe the customizeable controls or fix the rocket launcher.

if and when i get time and interest i will try to clean and rem the code to make it easier to understand.

Quote: "Request: Fade in DBP?"

ive tried this in dbpro and i found out this:
fading in dbpro will not work using gamma. unless you have a good gfx card. it didn't work with my geforce 4mx, but when upgrading to geforce 6600gt it worked. my guesses is yo would need a plane and slowly ghost it out. let me know if its that important and ill write a snippet for ya.

ok. working on it

edit,
i dont have dbc on my laptop. my desktop computer is broken at the moment ill see if i get time to do this later then

Lukas, if you want to convert a dbo into a .x
make the dbo to a mesh and save this mesh as a x
this could work but Im not shure.

i know it doesn't work!

this is just the stuff you will need for it to work, its not an example.

you must have your game engine done, then add the code to that engine.

Code does work!
Thanks.
@Lukas :

If you want to make multiplayer save all your positions, rotations to a
memblock. Then send the memblock. Its much faster than the normal method.
Here is an (my) example
for DBP (could also work with classic)

the code for the host

the code for the client

you can also use 1 code instead of 2 just
(input "[h]ost or [c]lient?: ",vote$)

Edit:
1.is it faster to use sparkys dll for making bulletholes in DBP
or a simple DBP code? (there are also a lot of dll that "replace" the
db commands with their owns for a better fps rate )
2. How to make bullet holes in P? the sparkys P and C dlls are diffrent. (A better question is: what should I change?)

DBPro - Right Click Popup Menu

because DBPro, unlike DBC, require a function to return a value, even though you don't need it at the "EndFunction" part but instead you have it at "ExitFunction", you will not see what the function returns, because it resets to 0 every loop.

allthough that does not have anything to do with what action you want to run when the function returns a value, the actions will run properly

Dosn't work, says the file either dosn't exsist(I doubt thats true)
or it says it's invalid.
