First of all, I would like to apologise for how late this program is in its release, this was partly due to a few other projects I have been balancing. Thank you for all those who gave feedback on the early release, although nothing major has been altered I have been testing the program to the best of my abilities. Though I couldn't find an issue with the "freeze on exit" problem, I would be very interested to hear if anyone else experiences it.

Here are the new features of Game Cover 2:

- A GUI
- New Preview option, to view your sequences before saving
- Fade outs from developer logo
- Fade ins to game title image
- Choose a fade colour including a blood red and brilliant white
- New file format support ( AVI, BMP, DDS )
- Automatic folder creation, GC2 creates and saves your sequence folder setup
- Automatic resize of your images

[b]You can now download Game Cover 2 and the Game Cover Media Pack at http://www.fpsfree.com/

Did that... Download Attached. Reason being that SaveFiles tend to disappear, apollo technically keeps the downloads forever...

Attached to this post is a colection of 5 horror/scary themed covers for use with the game cover application, you can edit these images to incorporate your game title/logo. They are enirely free for commercial and non commercial purposes. Give them a whirl with GC2 using a red fade colour

enjoy!

Hey can Game Cover be used with other game engines? Or is it just for FPSC?

I only had FPSC in mind when building it, i have no idea on it's compatability with other engines though i presume it should work fine. If your interested in using Game Cover for another project i would appreciate the details of the project, so i can see how successful it is with other apps.

Cheers for all your feedback guys and gals!

I believe you can only use this with FPSC but check the license and see.
This does not have save/load.There is no save/load system available at this time.

Drag the Game Cover 2 folder from the Game-Cover-2.zip onto a place on your hard-drive.

Double click the Game Cover 2.exe file to start the program

After you have created your cover, press the SAVE Button and specify a location to save your exported game cover folder setup. When your game cover is exported copy the contents of your FPSC game folder ( typically "FPS Creator\MyGames\GameName" ) into your exported game cover's "System\Game\" directory. Rename your games executable (.exe) file as data.exe.

Run your exported game cover application file (.exe) to view the intro sequence.

Just rename your gamemaker exe to data.exe

Just to clear this up, by default you are not allowed to use GC2 with anything other than an FPSC game, as FredP correctly stated.

However, if people are willing to contact me for my permission and present what they intend to use it for, I may be inclined to allow them to proceed with their project, providing I am informed.
