Hi. Its been along time since I posted a project on this board.
Here is a project I have been tinkering with for some time.
You can download it from my website
[href]www.archonrpg.com[/href]
Its a 3D version in DBC-Enhanced based on the original Comodore
computer classic. Some parts of it did not translate well,
but its still fun. Actually, my version is more fun because
you can play against the computer or over the internet.
Internet play has not been fully tested, but offline works fine.

Also, it has many other features .... see the docs.

the Salamander does have an AI problem, and the multiplayer is not working yet. I am working on it. Just rented a PC for the day to test and find the bug. Other than that, seems fine for offline.
While watching others play, I think I need to add a few delays
before combat begins (as a warning) and for when combat is done (to help inform who won). Also add a timer warning to let users know that there is a time limit on turns .... if enabled in the setup options ...

With the new contest opening for old remakes, I may even submit this for the contest. I know others will do much better than me though. Since all my media is ripped instead of truely original.
By ripped, it was provided by the DB dev team on the DBC disk, not ripped from comercial games. There is a difference

Ok. Multiplayer has been tested and seems to be fine.
Also, I can't submit this to the compitition.
I started working on it in November. Also,
I want to be able to sell the online version .....
The offline version is free, but that clasifies
my game as Shareware, not Freeware.

But, ok.
It was fun to write, and now I'm off to my next project.
