Sorry! I don't use FPSC. I never claimed they were FPSC ready. However, somewhere in the FPSC board, there is a post about some tools you can use to make them ready for use. Since I don't use FPSC, I can't make them ready or tell you how to do so. If you can make them work, feel free to do so. But I would ask, if you get them to work, please post them on the FPSC board so others can use them. (Just don't even try to claim them as your own.)

Here's a shot of the larger main gate. I haven't built the drawbridge yet.

Tell me which wall texture you think is best. The old plaster wall or the new stone wall.

Me too.

But if you do the walls with green moss on it, don't forget the towers ^^

Okay, I bumpmapped the front section of the wall. Here's a shot of how it looks now. I have also started working on the drawbridge.

Nope they do, just run them through make entity's and then go into the FPE and goto: Size, now mess around with the size limit to make them bigger.

The main building has had a slight overhaul. I didn't like the original texture, and The scale of some of the parts wasn't quite right. Here's a shot of the new look. I'm still working on the new walls. The curved section of the outer wall is a pain in the %&*^$ to get uv mapped. I have tried a hundred different ways and nothing worked. Now I'm having to manually map it one face at a time and manually position the vertices to get it right.

Sorry for the long delay in finishing the castle. I had a disk problem I had to deal with. Most of the castle's textures were lost in the process and I have been doing them over. Yes I do backup my work, but the last backup was two days before the problem. Hopefully the delay will be short. Thanks for being patient.

The castle is finished. Here's some screenshots of it in DBP.
The polycount shown is the terrain and the castle. Castle ended up with around 35k on the poly. These shots are just the castle put into an AT demo, no culling or optimizing, so the frames/sec. are a little lower than they could be.

I can make each individual part available seperately if someone would like to move things around and make their own design. Just let me know which parts you need.

@Spotaru- I tell you what. That castle is so incredible I think I will use it as a whole level in my hack n slash game. So no need to make a desert fortress, unless you personally want to make one. Thank you very much.

Some lightmapping would make that look so good. Maybe throw some ambient occlusion or radiosity or something on it and bake that to the textures?

Great looking model.

@Sparten

1.) Sorry, nobody is going to make a game for you! A lot of people come to this forum expecting that, but it isn't going to happen. Making a game takes great amounts of time, and unless you have to money to pay people for that time, go read some tutorials and learn how to program.

2.) Spotaru has already stated in this thread that he's not that great of a programmer

Awesome stuff spotaru, if i can get my RPG off its feet i will try and put these too good use, the only one thing i may say as a possibility to change is the big building in the castle instead of the blue give it more realistic tiles or something.

Except from that awesome work Nice bump mapping skills also

Also, could i have the walls without the inner buildings? then i will use my own buildings
Thanks

@ Violent Pigeon

I haven't had a chance to get all the walls together yet. I'll try to get them all in a zip and post them as soon as posible.

@ A Tea Spoon

I didn't make the landscape. It's the demo that comes with the Advanced Terrain plugin for DBP. But yes it is created using a heightmap, detail map, and a color map.

Someone asked me if I could make a windmill. I don't remember who, but they posted a picture of Bircham windmill. I decided to give it a try. It's not a replica, but is made in a similar style. It's not completed yet, I still need to make some doors and windows. The sails are animated. Here is a short .avi video showing what it will look like when completed. I'll post the model when I get the windows and doors finished.
