Another one finished. Two more to go. It may be a couple of days before I get the last one done. I have some other things I must complete first. Here's a shot of the six, so far.

The models are done. I still need to do some minor adjustments before I make them available. Should be ready by tommorow. Here is a shot of them used in a cargo bay scene.

What kind of cathedral? Post me a pic or link to a pic to give me an idea of what you are looking for.

@ alimpo83
Looks good! I'm glad to see that people are using my models.

@ everyone

what I would love (now that your going for this scifi zombie look) would be some bunkers, like small cement structures with doors coming out of the ground, like so:

and this:

post apocalyptic buildings would be loved too.
you deserve a cookie, but ill give you 1000 cookies for this stuff!

=)
have fun

@ Jesusaurisrex

On the first pic, are those stairs or vents? I can't tell from the picture. If they're stairs, why in the world would anyone in their right mind want a set of stairs leading right up to a window on their bunker?

On both pics, do you want models exactly like pics or something similar?

On the post apocalyptic buildings, do you mean intact buildings or ruins?

so, on the first pic they are vents. im just giving out an idea.
Quote: "On both pics, do you want models exactly like pics or something similar?"

naw, just handing out ideas, the first is one from turbo squid nut the second one is really the style im looking for, but these a not just for me, its for you to get ideas and for the community, so what you make is entirely up to you.

oh and apocalyptic buildings i meant buy ruins, smashed houses, crumbled skyscrapers, etc. but once again, its all up to you, just throwing out ideas.

and buy the way you inspired me to try making some buildings, so mabey ill be able to contribute to you and the community as well.

I was thinking of something like the temple of time from zelda ocarina of time
http://images.wikia.com/zelda/images/f/f5/Temple_of_Time.jpg

I cant have it very exact to that, just some thing along those lines if you can
(Do you do interiors?)

I was thinking that it could have large arched windows
(http://i.pbase.com/g3/06/302506/2/53856422.DSC_0194.jpg)
like the one in the middle

I like the front of the one i sent in the earlier post, so a front like that, and then just a rectangle back with a sloping roof.

if in the middle of the roof you could make it level off on one square and put a round window so that a shaft of light can come straight down into the middle of the floor, it would be great.

Thanks for thinking about it.

Just to let you all know, It may take me a while to get any of your requests done. Starting last week, the company I work for changed our hours from 8 hours, five days a week, to 12 hours, 7 days a week, for the next 10 weeks. We're trying to get ahead before the holidays, so we can have them off instead of having to work. Anyway, I'll work on the models when I get a chance.

spotaru i must say you do an amazing job modeling buildings. there isnt a chance you could make a spaceship? im currently making a great space game, where you fly around earth and land on the moon etc. but thats beside the point. im looking for a smaller spaceshipp that could fit 2-3 people. nothing fancy, ill try to get a picture for you.

@Spotaru- Thank you so much man. This community is doing great with your presence on the forum! And keep the sweet buildings coming.

@paint color- Welcome to the forum. Next, read through a topic before you post because he already posted a free spaceship on this thread.

Here's a pic of my latest building. The model is untextured at the moment. It is a temple or church, or whatever you want it to be. The exterior is similar to the Temple of Time pic posted by Zelda Fan and Jesusaurisrex. It has a simple, two story interior with stairs. There are pre-built and positioned ramps over the stairs for collision purposes. (so you can walk up and down them) The ramps can be hidden in DBP using Hide Limb command. I'll get it UV mapped and textured ASAP and let you now what the limb numbers, to hide, are when I post it for download.

@ Jesusaurisrex
I haven't forgotten about your bunkers. I'll get them as soon as I can.

@ paint color
Welcome to the forum. Sure I can build space ships. I can build just about anything. I'm just not so good with characters yet. Post a pic of what you're looking for and I'll see what I can do.

@ spotaru
could you get me something similar to this? and have it facing away from the screen. thank you
[edit] looking back at the image, could you make it without so many engines? maybe 3 or 4 would do

sweet!! that is lookin good.
it might be too much to ask, but could you make it a little longer? Can you make large windows like the front along the sides? Also, can you do an interior for it as well? If you can, i will give you the interior details.
(what program are you using to make your models?)

No offense intended, but you're right, It is too much to ask. I can build large side windows and a custom interior. But I will not. I build these models for free out of the goodness of my heart for the benefit of the community. These are not for profit models, nor are they custom models tailored for the use of an individual. If I was getting paid for them, it may be different. But since I am not, you get what I build. Take it or leave it. And NO, I will not accept payment for building custom models. I have neither the time nor desire to be a project modeler. I have enough work to do for my own projects to keep me busy. Also if people have noticed throughout this thread, I have ignored many request for a model. That is because It would be a model that only one or two people might be able to use. If I feel the model would be useful to many users, I usually try to build it or something similar. Like I stated before, I do this for the community, not for any one individual.

If any one is upset or offended by this post, I am truly sorry and ask for your forgiveness.

Spotaru,
Any chance I could get a simple top-down render of that space station model you posted a page or two ago? I'm working on a sprite of a space station for a little puzzle-type game I'm working on, but if I could use a shot of yours it would look a lot better . I can take care of scaling it down (it'll be about 100x100) and erasing the background.

Here's the pics. I didn't know what format you needed so I included multiple formats. If these will not work, let me know and I'll send you the original pic and let you edit them however you need to.

Everyone,
Finished mapping the temple. I just need to find the time to paint the textures.

Here is a simple demo with all sources to show the collision of the hidden ramps that let you climb the stairs. Uses Sparky's collision. I know the code is overly complicated and sloppy. But I was in a hurry, so I just pasted in the code from another project and quickly adapted the models to the code. Most of the code and global variables aren't even needed. The model and textures are in the media folder of the demo zip. For those of you using FPSC, sorry, but I could not get all the model mapped to one texture, it uses three textures. The model's textures are bumpmapped. If you prefer a smoother look, there are alternate textures included.

These are incredible - Thanks for giving them away! The castle is probably the best one, and looks really professional when bump-mapped.
