@Nikki

You should post your question in the relevant board (DBPro,DBC,or GDK) rather than hijacking Agent Joe's thread

They sound so clean and professional. Good work.

If we only had 10 people like you here, there would be an awesome library of sounds at our disposal. Maybe sometime in the future, we could compile all the free music and sound on this board to one torrent. Your one-stop place for all your royalty-free audio needs.

Just to let everyone know, If I haven't posted a sound you requested it's because I do not yet have the ability to create it... or make the sound realistic. When I do, I will make the sounds and post them here. Sorry for any inconvenience.

By the way, here are a couple more FPS sounds.

@Grandma: Thanks!

I'm sorry for not posting anything in a while guys. I've been busy with other things like work and stuff. I have started work on a couple of music tracks recently to test out my new orchestra instruments (Vienna Symphonic Library Special Edition)... I'm also in the process of building my new computer. I will post those tracks here when I get my new computer together and am able to complete them.

I've finally got my new computer setup! HURRAY! I have decided instead of finishing those random tracks, I will take 3 requests for music tracks... since I haven't done anything on here in months. Anyone interested?

I have one a tense slug fest song. Have you ever played Super Smash Bros., I am working on Tgc Heroes and we could use a decent song for a spaceship level or a floating island level.

Hey, glad you're back! I'd certainly be glad of a good track. I've been trying to make one myself but it's hard to get what I have in my head into QMidi .

The track is for my WIP, Fields. It's a modern-age RTS game (you can click my sig if you want to check it out). The track would be in-game background music, so it can't be anything with a real heavy beat. As for style, I think an adventurous, exploring sort of theme. Feel free to go wherever you want with that.

This track will just be the standard in-game background, I'll use a different track for combat.

Thanks!

Here's your track Bmaczero! I went with sort of a ambient classic rock. I tried it with Command and conquer and it fits pretty good.

@ Beast E Gargoyle:
I am just starting work on your track today.

Hey, if you've got the time, I'd be very glad of another one of your awesome tracks .

I've actually been listening to your track for a while, and it seems like it would be well-suited for combat. It isn't as fast-paced and such as other combat tracks usually are, but as I'm listening too it I can just see a squad of marines jumping out of a helicopter and charging across the landscape (which is exactly the style of combat I'd like to have in Fields).

Additionally, it doesn't seem to fit too well with what I have so far - the sims gathering resources and building stuff. I'm guessing this is because the track really has a sci-fi kind of tone, and Fields isn't quite at the same level of sci-fi as it is.

So, when you have time to make another track, I'd love to have a new "main background music" track. I think maybe an instrument other than electric guitar would fit better with this setting - more peaceful, less sci-fi. Then I'll use the other one for combat.

Here's a screenshot if it will help any. A video or a demo might be better, but screens is all I've got right now:

@Agent joe- Could u please convert the .wma song over to .mp3? Also, why is the song 9.5mb, that seems pretty large?

Uhm, most high quality (downsampled) recordings I make take around 5Mb per minute, so I don't think there is anything strange about the file size?
(A 96Khz 24bit raw wave file takes about 16.5Mb per minute, in comparision - now that would be a bit large to download )

@ Beast E Gargoyle: Here's the mp3 version of your track. It's larger size, as Rudolpho sorta points out, is due to the bitrate being higher. The mp3 version is about 4mb.

Here's the other track for you Bmaczero. It's actually three shorter tracks that are variations. It totals to about 4 minutes.

@ Hackinc 2000: I'll look up the "El Chupa Cabras" you are talking about and get started on your track.

@ Hackinc 2000: I am actually working on 3 tracks for you. They are a title theme, an ambient background, and an action sequence.
I am giving the tracks a classic alien/horror sound.

Hi all! I am another composer to make songs for your games ! check out the demo songs. Orchestra song is pretty good IMO (It's not actually orchestra, just violin, piano and bass). Btw, I'm going to do it for free. You can already use demo songs, I've just created them.. Just note me and add me to credits (:

You must mean Agent Joe?

It's absolutely amazing that you are making this for free! Those tracks should fill in all the spots I have nicely. I have one comment though. I noticed that some of the songs have a rattling, static-y sound in the background. Would it be possible to remove that? I think that would get kind of annoying for the player.

Thanks guys.

@Bmaczero: I think you are talking about excess reverb. I'll remove it but it might not be up for a couple days, due to my CPU acting up (I am waiting on a Quad Core in the mail) When I do post it up I'll edit the message and let you know.

@Hackinc2000: I have actually fixed a little bit on the Ambient track. I have made a 1 minute menu track also. Right now I am working on the tense/chase track. I'll post them all in a zip file on here when I am finished.

Hi, i was wondering if you could create a track and a couple sound effects for my WIP "Paradise". It's a horror/zombie apocalypse type game, but i kind of want something fresh. One main track with heavy breathing and screams/panic would help a bunch, and maybe a machine gun noise or two if you could. It's for a preliminary trailer me and my friend are making for it.

all help would be appreciated, thanks!
