@meteorite:

Sometime it'll be updated... I've noticed the "m" positioning, too.

@Bibo:

I emailed you... had a rather weird New Years.

The error message I got is:
Quote: "Runtime Error 5104 - Cannot create memblock at line 4179"

Maybe because of incompatible version? I use the latest beta. 1.14.

1.07-1.09 only for any mod, S4 requires 1.07-1.08 I believe

hey plystire i used the humvee script and when i get in the humvee well for 1 the only way the camrea moves is that it rotates it does not moue its position. 2the A and D keys dont do any thing when i press them and 3 the W and S keys are backward meaning that when i press W the humvee goes backward and with the S key forward.

before you ask yes it is a humvee
and i have v1.09

Hey Ply great mod its working now but there is a small problem. When I put the vehicle script that you made on a vehicle...I enter the game go to the vehicle and press enter then the screen randomly goes to the bottom corner of the map? I can look around with the screen but it doesn't move...

You just wasted a few seconds of your life reading this signature!

try getting in the vehicle then getting out by pressing G the get gack in if that doesnt work then reinstall the upgrade or if you heve V1.07 or V1.08 upgrade to V1.09.

i had the same exact problem you can still control the vehicle but the camrea is in the wrong pos.

I can't say I know much bout the vehicle script, I personally didnt like the way it was done, so I choose not to use it. But I dont think uprading FPSC then reinstalling Ply's Mod would help. PM will work best with 1.07, because it is based of the 1.07 source code.

If nothing else, you can always adjust the humvee's FPE to rotate it to face the correct direction.
Just have it rotate 180 degrees to flip it around.

@Fluffy:

Did you do anything to the script? Are you using a Humvee that is set up as a Character type entity?

Not sure how to help but reinstalling might help.

Hi, guys I downloaded Ply's Mod but can't get it to work. I copied the FPSC_Game.exe file but nothing works, ie... dual wielding, and the robot thing. Thanx ahead of time guys.

@tarboxb:

Have you reviewed the ReadMe document included with the download?

It will explain how dual-wielding works, how to set it up, etc.

The robot seen in the video must be scripted and will not work unless it has been supplied with a script to do that.

Like Ply stated before, an ability to script is essential to get the most out of this mod.

Ply, any ideas for the next version? I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Not many, but a few.

Other things are taking priority right now, so we'll just have to wait. Much like everyone else, I wish I had all the time in the world to devote to what I enjoy doing.

We'll see how that goes.

I would like to refrain from adding more to the code until the next source is released... especially major modifications like that.

Yeh...

I'd love to see scriptable weapons, but it'd mean a whole load of work to get every weapon working and such...

Hmm, I dunno. I have more-or-less everything I need. All that's left is Timer-Based Movement, performance tweaks, and perhaps graphical tweaks, although the only graphical thing I'd really love to see is Dynamic Shadows that actually look good...

Did you uninstall FPSC and reinstall, or just install V1.09 over V1.13?

I tryed what the readme said, It told you to put candual = 1 into the gunspec file for the gun you want to dual weild and nothing happens. I tryed the script you showed on this forum, way back on page 1 for the robot and that did not work either. Thank's for your help guys and I sure do hope I can figure this thing out.

you can equip a dual wield gun by pressing the left side ctrl key on the keyboard and pressing the 1 key.

@tarboxb:

Are you trying to dual-wield a weapon with itself? If you are then you'll need to pick up two of that weapon in order to do that, or you'll need to add the option for dual-wielding with itself while only having one of that weapon.

FPSC V1.09 with Ply's Mod 1.07

I was trying the same weapon, but I can't actually have two of the same weapon it just gives me more ammo. I tried it with different weapons and it still wont work, thanks for all your help guys and
I sure hope I can get this deal to work.

If you pick up another of the same weapon, it will throw the weapon into the pool of the one you already have, but after you pick it up you will be able to dual wield it

It's a bug in the source Lee distributed. A faulty compiling DLL or something...

Shame, it's one of the few cons of using a mod...

They work. You just can't have static and dynamic lights in a level. You have to choose between the two. Or at least that's what happens to me.
