What is your favourite line / quote from a video game (any format).

My personal favourite:

"My scythe, I like to keep it next to where my heart used to be."

but where is it from...

Admiral-
"What happened."

Operator-
"Someone set up us the bomb."
"We get signal-"

Captain-
"What!"

Operator-
"Main screen turn on."

Captain-
"Its YOU!!"

Cats-
"How are you gentlemen... All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction."

Captain-
"What you say?"

Cats-
"You have no chance to survive, make your time... HAHAHAA!"

Not a single Japanese video game with more satisfying English translation bloopers. It's called Zero Wing.
There is an actual website dedicated to this:
www.planettribes.com/allyourbase/index.shtml

They've even modified it to be some looney music video.

This is the eternal kingdom of Zeal, where dreams can come true. But at what price?

"I felt like I was in a computer game, someone controlling my every move. I could see my stats and healthbar out of the corner of my eye."
~Max Payne

Can't remember the exact quote, but it was along those lines. Oh, and an all time favourite:

"It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... but I'm all out of gum."
And everyone knows where that's from.

They should make a TGP game since they aren't going to do another series (bloody Sky... back off Brussels!!!!!). Something about Terry ending up in bed with Connie... sigh...

Heh, remember the Fact Hunt episode? "I will take great pleasure in p*ssing on you from a great height!" Greg said after they had been arguing about which pub quiz team would be the best. Guv said something like "Now now Greg, alls fair in competition" or somesuch, to which Greg said "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to her!" meaning his fit bird by his side. Laugh? I almost sh*t myself!

Look at me, don't look at me, LOOK AT ME!!!!!

lol... my bro told me about the connie & terry episode... was a rather eck! ending to it.

i hate it when good shows are canceled because they don't get the ratings (funny how paramount get better ratings for TGP though, wonder if it has anything to do with a more sensible timeslot & actually advertising)

god i love having a T1 connection to a SkyBox at home, might be expensive but the TV out here is just double steaming. Add to that you have to flick for like 10years between so many channels to find you next favourite program (which oftently due to stupid competitiveness or something are shown at the same time) ... nothing with the pure calibre of TGP or DTDD here.

Obviously "all your base are belong to us" is the top one.

Another one that sticks out for me is from "Manhunter 2: San Francisco"..

There was a great puzzle in that game, where on the glass door of an office you could see the words..

"baT vomiT"

Sorry to spoil it for some but, the words are actually "Timov, Tad" the name of the dead person in the office written on the front of the glass door you are looking at from behind.

Ive got over 190 AYB images on disk currently, thinking of making some sort of slide show like the flash video.

Microsoft used it as a selling point for Office XP, try searching the picture archives.

That's very similar to when you finish the Rise of the Triad demo, after the credits finish rolling it starts showing humourous messages, keep in mind you can only see one at a time as they roll on then off before the next appears:

Quote: "You've won the battle, Cassatt. But when the Oscuridos return, will you be ready as they wage their Dark War?

Armed with only a pistol and 30 bucks, you must stop the minions of El Oscuro before they kill millions of innocent people.

Take a vacation. You've earned it. Maybe on San Nicolas Island...

Thanks for playing. If you liked "The HUNT Begins", check ordering info for information about continuing your adventure.

Look, this is pointless. You are done. Push off.

Wow, you must like this fine background screen.

"Bob"

All right, um . . . you found the secret message! Congratulations!

Didn't work, huh? Okay, how about this . . .

THE END

Dang. Thought I had you there.

Stop watching. Pretty please?

With sugar on top?

You know that if you registered, there would be a lot more cool stuff happening right now.

Episode IV : A New Hope

Just think of all the new secret messages you could find hidden in the registered version!

Someone right now is probably enjoying the really exciting ending of the registered version.

ROTT was filmed before a live audience.

No animals were harmed during the creation of this video game, although one dog did get its butt spanked when it peed on the carpet.

Wait . . . I could just go to the demo loop! See ya.

(Then one of the patrol robots comes on the right side of the screen and the text "Am I late?" appears over his head.)"

It was funny at the time especially as you didn't know how long it went for.

"Computers are useless they can only give you answers."
