2.1a doesn't work right for me. The framerate is horrible compared to 1.9, and that's with waterlevel=0 set. It doesn't even seem like the timerbased system is working, because the walking speed is so much slower than on 1.9.

I tried 1.9, and I got another annoying thing... Whenever I walk forward, I hear the shoot sound of the gun I'm holding.

Any suggestions?

Hmmm, maybe you should make it a fpi scripting command to control water, then we can change height through trigger zones etc. That and we could add it to test game...

@xyzz1233 The timers are designed to keep fpsc running at the highest perfrmance and speed for your machine they are not no cap timerbased like airmod 05 is.

Never had or heard of the guns shooting when going forward before.

The machine specs for the newest s4mod seem to be a bit higher than v1.9, what is your computer specs?

I'll make a test level with stock media and test on that.

EDIT:
There we go. My little test level runs perfectly, even with water. It must've just been something with the level I was testing before.

I've had that problem before but it didn't have anything to do with s4Mod, I was getting it every once in a while running a map I made in FPSC 1.07 with no mods involved and it only happened with a certain weapon but can't remember which one...

Games created with the official build of AirMod can be sold commercially. AirMod 0.6 is currently only available in efxMod & S4mod. Consult S4mod's readme for information regarding S4mod.

Reading that back it sounds really automated

Ok, so AirMod Beta Release - AirMod 0.6 Beta is an official release? because the only other one that is there is o.5 witch is a developer package..

Why not copy your FPSC Installation, so you have 2 FPSC Installs at the same time
one for testing/using mods and one for using the 1.12

Update :

Version 2.1c is now released you can now use water slider to change height of water in test mode.

Make sure to place the water folder into files folder in fpsc creator to use in test mode.

WICKED! Can we change colors in test game?
EDIT:
Just tried it out and it works beautifully, I just wanna change colors in test game now lol. (with sliders).
Now we reeealllyy need refraction.
EDIT 2:
All lights, lightmapping, ambiance has all disappeared for me. As well as shadows etc...

I made them quickly, because I'm not too bothered with what I use to make something so long as it works and lets me do the job efficiently.

I use Vista Premium 32-bit.
I am using FPSC v1.09.
Water effects don't work on my test game. I replaced the FPS Game as usual and put the water folder in the files section. I press the tilde key and there is no water meter.

and If you would read the"Readmefirst_How to use.txt" file it tells you step by step how to set up S4mod, which you are leaving out step 3 ontop of using the wrong version update for FPSC.

Someone told me (I forgot who) that 1.09 could use mods. I DID step 3 by editting the setup.ini file but FPSC deletes that extra code cause when I go back on the code's gone. (Must be the FPSC version.)

Man, s4mod 1.9 really improves my games framerate. I am really impressed. I want to use it for froggy shoot out. The thing is froggy shoot out will be commercial, even if it will only be 5 dollars. And the license that is included with s4mod seems to only cover distributing the mod. I would like to know if I can use this mod with my commercial release. I browsed through this thread and the question seems unanswered. I will put on the opening screen made with fpsc and s4 mod and everything to give proper credit. I hope I can use it, it is excellent. So can I use it with a commercial release?

3.0 wow! Question however, if there is no need for water etc, would the latest release be recommended? or an earlier version. Also thanks for the commercial option given.

Whenever i try to test my game it loads everything as normal but when i press OK FPSC gives me these errors-

1- Runtime Error 506, could not load image at line 30734

2- of course, this error- ...needs to close... Extra Debug info: 0,0

then it closes

and then i find this txt file in my FPSC files directory-

Th error is because you have not place the waterfolder into file's in fpscreator dir.

very great mod.

although i still have a problem. i can play the game fine until i pick something up (using T) then the framerate drops drastically and it gets very laggy for the rest of the time.

is there a way to fix this?

EDIT- actually, its whenever i press "T" whether to pick up and object or not.

I'm pretty sure it's to do with the reset fps cap in test game (which is what pressing T does). My advice is, don't press T :p
