mod?

mod?

Mod?

Mod?

MOD?

MOD?

Huh. If we need a new mod, it needs to be someone totally impartial to the Raven/Simple debate, with expirience in shutting down arguments quickly and keeping the peace. I'll be frank, I don't think anyone who has been voted for quite meets those criteria ... I know I don't!

I hate flame wars, and don't care if it is raven or simple, I would lock it either way. That's why I never post on topics like that.

:: throws his voice :: "i think Raven should be a mod"

on the matter of a new forum, i'd like to see a TPF one ... i mean it'd be better if we could keep all of our TPF (C/Pascal/Python/Fortran) questions all in one place and out of the way of the casual users who want to know howto use the cursor keys to control the movement in thier game.

Why the top posters? You mean Raven?!?!?!

I think it should be someone that will actuall do stuff that a mod should do, and won't abuse thier power. It dosen't really matter how many posts yo have (That only means that you participate in flamewars and debates )

:: rubs hands together ::
absolute power eh... hmmm hehee
i've already got a pretty tight grip on the forum though, and i mean like i wouldn't want to choke it or nothings. but still being a mod would be pretty cool.

ya know i've got the most words per poster here ... cause i write essays almost every post i do, so like just think about it, nearly 8,000 posts all a good page long
man if you just took all of my posts put them into like a book i bet you i'd be bigger and more boring than War & Peace

I think it *should* be somebody who has alot of posts, or at least have a since of community. Such as Raven, lol - he has a ton of posts each thought out (well, er, mostly!)...

Jeeze, the only two people I see here that are decent chooces for a mod (not including myself, despite my fequent atempts to clean up the team requst forum ) are Raven and Martyn. Reasons?

Martyn has been here for a long time and hasn't been a big part of any flamewar (that I've seen). As for Raven, he's hosting my Avitar . Seroiusly Raven would me my pick, he seams more mature than people give him credit for.

Seriously, i am a nice guy, and in a past post, i can't remember where, we calculated i spend 3/4 to 5/8 a day on computers, on here, checking my e-mail, on rgt, or coding in db. I have evolved into a nice coder, who can do what he wants to do, and will bring peace and justic to these forums, not saying the current mods are doing a bad job, of course. Where are any mods or Rich anyways? We need they're votes!
