You could play them as power chords but it will sound better as 3-note chords or full bar chords.

Note that at certian points througout the song the E chord is played on 7th fret A string as opposed to Open low E (only a few spots tho)

Power chord=Root + Fifth
3-Note chord=Root + Fifth + Root Octave
Full bars use openEform+bar, openAform+Bar

let me know how it goes

Mattman

I don’t know if I mentioned it but the tuning for that song is slightly sharp. What I had to do was tune my guitar using an electronic tuner and then raise it up sharp SLIGHTLY (not even one half step) to get in correct tune. Most cd’s aren’t like this and maybe their whole cd isn’t this way but that song is definitely sharp a fraction.
Easiest way to get in their tune is to tune you’re A string to tuner A. Then start the song, pick on the A string open along with the intro of song (ignoring G#’s) and slowly tighten you’re A string until it matches what you hear – until it sounds identical – you’re A is now in tune. Now just tune the rest of your guitar to you’re A, in the standard way, and you will be ok for that song.

hope this helps
I emailed this to you as well
