i u think thats messy u dont wanna see my room on a friday. You can barly open the door due to the 50 or so cds blocking it. Hmm maybe ill put a pic. Good job winch. We should start a "who has the messiest desk" thread.

I will, once I accidently borrow my bro's cheap little digi-cam.

Ohh, you have a hard disk connected to your laptop - I have a laptop with a broken CDR, do you reckon one of those cables would let me use an old CDR? - if so, where did you get it and what's it called . Thanks . Ohh, I can get into the mini IDE thingy if that means anything.

Works well with a harddisk and writes a cd a 10x keeping the recorder buffer > 98%.
It's using usb 2.0 the older slower usb will not be so fast and might only be able to write at slow speeds.

The laptops mini ide is just standard ide with 4 extra pins to power the drive and to change its mode (master/slave).
