Anybody else having trouble with waypoints in 1.17 and 1.18 beta? I'm experiencing so much frustration, my characters just stop right before the waypoint marker and just walk in place. ARGH!

Is that options screen able to be customized via graphics only or can you be more in depth via fpi?

I know these are not popular but here goes...

Feature suggestion:

A poster/sign creation tool inside FPSC.

Ever since Signs went way of the dodo and MagicFPS went dark getting a simple poster into FPSC has become a challenge.

I actually own both of these tools but any newcommers cannot complete such a task without a good deal of work.

There are a few other tools out there but none that I could get working with the latest version of FPSC (many of these tools were made years ago).

The FPI code for the settings menu is currently stored in titlepage.fpi. You can open this and change graphics, enable/disable settings, tweak values, and even add your own options.

Just add a credits button to the menu, and use the following code (contains new commands):

:state=5,hudselected=credits:video=videobank\credits.avi

Is the SETTINGS MENU available in FPSC 1.18 Beta 1 or is it only available in a higher beta? Because I do not see any settings code for a SETTINGS menu in the titlepage.fpi?

@Arc: The settings menu is being made now and so is not yet in any betas.

@Spy: Controls changing isn't in the settings menu.

Where are we on the Test Game Skybox, Ambient Lights, and Bloom manipulation options? The sliders debate has been going on for a while, and Lee said it would be considered. Where are we on that one?

In the shader files there are things for sliders. So I would think probably.

Appreciate the reply. Well, one can only hope. For the sake of usability I would request that this feature, or something even better be implemented into the Test Game screen. Real-time tweaking makes the levels much much better.

If you are fixing bugs in multiplayer

Is it possible to fix the not being able to pick weapons up after a while thats annoying.
And everynow and again you get a game and the frags won't go up

Can these be fixed?

I dont know if you have seen Bond1's new character shadows which look good (planar shadows, but I like them!).

@Bond:
is there a way to use them with normal dynamic entitys? This would make them even better!

I read the whole thread since its opened and never saw something about it concerning other entitys. Sure the first page said something 'bout Dynamic Shadows, but that does not mean they work for them right now.
Maybe I just havent seen the post, than could you quote it?

Thanks CoZ and Nbt!

I did all animation/rigging, the texture, the modification of the hand, made them FPSC ready etc.

The basic base of the hand was made by Alucard94 from the 3D Chat.

Nice work Cyborg ART! Could there be a version of the hands with gloves on? The skin tone looks great with the new shader, indeed. Thought there could be a version where the race of the character could be hidden. Would be a good update for those wanting the main character to be Asian, or with African origin.

While I like the idea of a SETTINGS menu and I think it is an absolutely necessity, I think it would be much much better if FPSC gave the ability to choose what settings we are able to put in the SETTINGS menu.

One of the main reasons a lot of people do not buy or play FPSC games is because they think they are all COOKIE CUTTER style games. Currently they see that the MAIN MENU, no matter what graphics are used, is currently exactly the same in every game and there is no SETTINGS menu. So just based on that alone, a lot of people will not buy or play FPSC games, NO MATTER how good the game may be. So even with the new SETTINGS menu, if there is NO WAY to allow us to choose what settings we will be able to add or remove and have shown on the menu, in a very short time all games made with that has the new SETTINGS menu will be lumped into that COOKIE CUTTER class, and that will definitely not be good for anyone who has put a lot of hard work into their game.

So we definitely need way to add or remove settings from ANY MENU NOT JUST THE SETTINGS menu, but from ANY AND ALL menus. This will definitely give a LOT of distinctiveness to EACH AND EVERY game. Plus it will give FPSC (in my opinion) more credibility as a usable engine/tool for creating some really really good games.

FPSC creators and modders, please take this into consideration, please!

Thank You!
