hi
ive got an problem with fenix mod.Every time i try to build a game i get an error when it loads the activ bulletholes.
the error is:
The application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Extra debug Info: 0 0

it would be nice if someone can help me

Hey guys, ive got a problem when i try to download the fenix mod, when i click on the link a folder comes up as usual asking if i want to open, save or cancel so i choose save then open folder but for some reason it tries to open with windows media player, ive never had this before, any ideas ?

Hi, I've had a look around the forums, but I can't find an answer to my problem.

When I start a test game I receive this error after clicking on the Horror Mod Settings Loaded button.



How can I fix this. I am using V1.16 of FPSC and V1.1 ofF enix Mod.

same problem...i can't recall
i think when i deleted the drakAi.dll file in fpsc folder
it works.
make backup and try it yourself

That's why I think Project Blue should "consume" ALL of the Fenix Mod source (killing redundancy and bugs, of course) instead of picking and choosing the "best" parts to integrate for its next update (though I realize that I can't begin to fathom the scope of that challenge ). Then you could (with the 1.18 source included) have PB on sale with all the super bells and whistles and "combine" Project Green with Fenix and keep it free! Everyone wins (in the long run )

Also, Hockeykid and Ply need "Valued Member" placards, don't you think?

I would denfently say HockeyKid and I guess Ply also deservers it for the best selling mod for FPSC

Using rpg together with fenix mod.
Hi I would like to use some script commands from rpg together with the fenix mod. However, I've problems to install the rpg mod, which belongs to fenix. I copied from the offical fenix mod documentation, the three files in the directory "FPS Creator Free\Files" and wrote a simple to test whether rpg-mod is working, but nothing happens,
Can anybody give me a hint, where is my mistake?

I asked your question from Blackfox about RPG mod and he said Fenix mod doesn't support everything from RPG mod and it just support some parts so you can't use all the RPG mod's files with Fenix mod.

I think if you wait for V1.18 and a Fenix mod campatible with it you will surprise.
Fenix mod needs to be more detailed and more work required because after Fenix v1.1 new RPG comes out and original horror mod has more details(it is more than 100MG by itself) and Fenix should be more detailed than before and all these need a lot of time.

I think if a couple of users Donate for Fenix Mod hockeykid will get more energy to manage for a newer version.

Edit:
I think if Wizmod integrate with new Fenix-Mod then fenix will be the best mod ever.
(And we know Wizmod included Airmod )

Question for anyone that uses the Fenix Mod.......

In the instructions for the Fenix Mod, in order to use the RPG Mod commands, it says.....

When it says main FPSC files folder, which directory is it refering to:

1. C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator

2. C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator\Files

3. Some other directory.

Also, lets say I wanted to to use the fenix mod's rpg mod command rpg_hideentity (and NO OTHER COMMANDS from the RPG MOD), do I have to call the Fenix Mod's RPG Mod's setup.fpi from my entity's appear1.fpi script, or default.fpi script, along with the rpg command rpg_hideentity or am I looking at this entirely wrong?

Please explain?

fenix mode is dead (i think) theres lots of bugs in it and some scrips dont work. hope he will update fenix mode. if not.... FENIX MODE IT DEAD

For those who haven't realized Fenix Mod will not be receiving anymore updates. If enough people are interested I will rewrite Fenix Mod into Project Blue. This means anyone who doesn't own Project Blue would have to buy it to get the rewritten, probably improved Fenix Mod. Would anyone who doesn't already own Project Blue buy it if I did that?

Not really. Imagine what games could be made with the Migration + Project Blue + Fenix Mod + FPSC IP (New PB uses the Migration and has FPSC IP integration as well)! The possibilities are endless! PB and Fenix Mod are both "good" on their own, but add them together and they become something greater than the sum of their parts

I actually think I might do that, seeing that one of the main reasons I've held off on any purchases is due to indecision between mods. Man, it'd be awesome to see these merge!

I have a problem with 1 certain map - What happens is that I go to play it and it comes up with an error saying;

This never happened before I modded it, and it only happens with this map.
Does fenix mod have a lower tolerence for large maps?

But we need more features from RPG mod,I mean whole of the Fenix and the newer RPG should go through PB.

Sigh. Fenix Mod and PB are developed by hockeykid. RPG Mod is developed by Flatlander and myself. Our mod is seperate and independent of both Fenix/PB and will remain independent. We will not merge RPG mod with Fenix or Project Blue. Not only that, but it has been made clear that any RPG mod code in Fenix is being removed before he (hockeykid) even merges Fenix with Project Blue- if he merges them.

Talking to hockeykid will not change this fact. Please try to keep any "un-factual" information regarding all the mods out of the forum unless you know exactly what is what; more specifically, please do not assume that RPG will be in any migration/merge. It tends to confuse people when they are looking at the different mods and features. I can't even begin to explain how many emails we have answered because someone told someone that our mod is merging with another mod, etc.

That is the best idea IMO, To be honest we don't need millions of mods, we just need one FPSC that people can add to and then send to lee so he could think about it and add it to a update that he could update every month.

I would start working on a mod again (I had one ages ago) if I could afford Dark AI and Dark Lights though, Bit of a rip off (£30) just for a DLL that allows you to use little ammounts of commands to help you out in coding massive things.

If I were in charge (though there are clear reasons why I'm not ) I'd have PB and Fenix merge + integrate the migration and FPSC IP (The last two have already happened and the first probably will), then add RPG Mod (Just an idea, BlackFox, nothing more) as well as EFX Mod (I know a lot of people think this is stupid, but Migration graphics can be beautiful and so can EFX, so think of how they'd look all together), kill all the redundancy that would surly come about and that's it! I'd be willing to pay $200 for something like this, but deciding price point isn't really my thing. I work full time from home as a freelance graphic/web designer and computer repair technician and want to make a job out of indie game design and with all those potential graphical, performance and gameplay features $200 is pocket change for results But that's only what I would do
