Not a bad guess, we'll just have to see when the game comes out eh?

Allright I have a choice for you guys regarding the demo:
Wait a shorter time and have just the story/environment parts. OR
Wait a little while longer than that and have one of the Horror sequences included as well?

I don't really care how you send the demo, either way it'll be great. As for your screens, they look really great. (now I want LyteFX real bad though )

Man this game just keeps getting better and better everytime I look here. Great job man, I really hope you keep going with this one. It's absolutely fantastic looking!
Can't wait to test it out myself

And, some good news everyone! I emailed Peanut Butter Fingers, and he said he'd be happy to put LyteFX back up for sale! He needs to just test it with FPSC's latest updates, and find some kind of automatic distribution website. Once it's good to go, he'll make a thread on the forums about it's re-release!

Cheers

That's great news!
You should've told him to re-release Umbra as well

As for the game, thanks for the comments , don't worry this one's not going anywhere, this one is here to stay You'll be able to test soon enough. Things left to finish include, the 4th level design, voice acting, story events and done

Looks pretty nice already, but you should remove the overlays in screen 1 to avoid those ugly shadows... paint the overlay onto the floor texture instead.

Awesome screens, and great to hear Butters is planning to resell Lyte:FX, wish I had the money to buy it...

If I was ever given the opportunity to remove all the bad from the world, I wouldn't, because for there to be heroism, compassion and all that is good, there must also be all that is bad.

Hmm, may keep that in mind Thanks for the suggestion

As for the weapons you will be able to have, well, you are an ex-cop So, you still have your handgun stashed in your closet from back in the day Not mentioning the rest

As for the enemy types, that my friend is a secret

No demo for now... FPSC or Windows, whichever one felt it would be a fun idea to be a dick and make the folder with all the custom scripts in it, "magically disappear"

Damn! All of them! Crap. That happened to me, bot I am glad that it wasn't a script bank it deleted. It was some worthless other folder. Windows does that. I think.

It's allright I suppose, It's a big pain in the arse
But I can re-write them all, i wrote them in the first place so
It just means more time until I can release this demo
I should have it out tomorrow if there are no more inconveniences

Trying to find a quiet day to finish up the voice work, It's been so busy here Once that's done I can release a demo, in the mean time, I've been working on the further levels. I'm gonna keep that progress hidden for now

Sounds good, I know how you feel; voice work just feels, uncomfortable when you know others are listening haha. You know they're thinking, "ok what? What is he talking about in there to himself?"

Looking forward to the demo, definitely excited.
