Next model you make should be a staple gun.

And how about make something that doesn't already exist for your next project? I loved your sci-fi rifle, maybe you could something up that alley next?

Should be pretty fun to mess with.

Throw it in the model data base, the more the merrier in there

Hm.... I wonder where your getting inspiration on the G36 Asteric....

Perhaps your airsoft gun? :3 Looks good, Reminds me of a training rifle with the red colour

Ive just been thumbing through some old notes in my max scrap book. Turns out I was thinking on this the other day, Much like baking normals, except baking the actual textures into lowpoly. I had a round about way of doing it though which i havnt pulled off right yet.

Creating all the media then rendering it, then applying the Uv around it. I tried it in the aztec statue sculpt and the stonemason night scene but I didnt get it entirely right though. Care to share your method ?

Hmm Laz in max im sure when you bake you can just use the diffuse bake right? All of my texture experience from high poly has been using zbrush. Ill have a play around for you, how detailed did you want the texture bake to be? Because i usually just sort different parts into colours to make it easier to texture each piece.

Awww they look great in UDK, and for once they're done high-low poly bakes as they should be...

Still, you got it alot further than I thought, I still imagined you'd need around 20 polies for decent detail - sweet job, is that image with it put on BSP?

Ahh right, sweet...

Basic material, although I've never understood why the stock ones are so complex. Mine are only about 49 instructions...
