I have to say, that is a huge cannon, maybe a human scale would help, right now the cannon ball feels like it would be about the size of a basketball. :S

That is because im plugging the diffuse into the specular slot until the diffuse is done, then i will go in and make a proper spec map.

Doing sort of a lighting test, one on the left would be on a bright, late afternoon, whilst the one on the right would be more early morning, overcast.

You can have a low one, but there is little point for the high res, it will be solid colour.

Thanks.

Yeah, UV maps tend to be boring, but i have learned so much by experimenting with this, so i am actually enjoying it.

I am curentlly learning uv maping for advanced objects, or objects with some more complex geometry than walls and i am enjoying it as well, not as much as modelling, but its funny

Have you tried looking for some earlier versions of Photoshop? Not sure if they are still being sold but you could find one for a good price.

Thanks I will take a look into it. Just found this thing called PaintShopPro or something but it looks pretty fancy. Just need to learn how to use it! I have like 4 of them but they are all different. Right now I use Gimp2.

Paintshop Pro isn't to bad I have a early version some where, I didn't like it that much though (No idea why).

I think josh mooney uses it (Not 100% on that)

Yes, I use PsP and love it. Bought it about 5-6 years ago and haven't wanted to switch to another program since. If you need any help just drop me an email.

Asteric you're really pumping out some kick-ass stuff. It would be better textured though. And maybe some UDK shots would be cool to.

Pc is fine now, just my health that needs to improve

Dont worry, i will get to that when my software is back

Once i finish the high poly, i will get onto making it game ready, and then texture it, however i will render it in Marmoset, UDK aint my strong point atm.

Top of a handgun. Ohh yeah I really like your wrench that you made. But it's a little small to be a weapon You need on of those big fireman wrenches that open up fire hydrants.
