Various weapon attachments have existed for a very long time, dating back to the first rifles and so on. All that call of duty did was bring the idea of weapon attachments into mainstream, so what General Jackson is doing is not going to directly cause emulation of the call of duty style games, as the idea of weapon attachments are completely unoriginal. Infinity Ward took an idea that was unoirinal in the real world, and used that to do something that was original(few games had detailed name brand attachments pre-COD4) in the video game world.
Anyway, onto the models.
I really like the models General Jackson, however I feel the textures need a lot of work. I suggest focusing on getting a more accurate texture for the attachments, and really try to differentiate between the plastics and the metals(particularly aluminum) as most games and media depicts everything as almost 100% hard metal, which when it comes to attachments is totally not true, many parts of attachments are made of high strength aluminum and plastic to protect from tarnish and to save money.
