How I can back to normal speed in Project blue 1.7?

Hi, for a small feature for PB, do you think that it would be possible to set up the multiplayer to do some of these things:

1) Record deaths and kills and put them into a .txt file at the end of a game.
2) Bypass the main menu if a file exists containing a IP(TCP) address and a name.

Those are just two features i would really love to see in PB.

Yeah I agree Arenas this would be perfect with recording the kills and deaths so players can view their kill/death ratio.

I was thinking, if you made an external menu, you could effectively make your own game, just using FPSC maps. Say you could have a ranking system, and increase your score as you get kills and have an after game bonus, say a ratio of K X 100 or something. Then you could have an external lobby because you just make the lobby yourself and all you need to input is the TCP and name Its all good though Can be used for lots of things

I have already made these features in V1.15 of FPSC, but i think it will be easier and faster to remake them than to copy them across the two versions, that's how easy it is to make

When I go into test game with a map I made prior to purchasing PB, I encounter an error which says:

Texture lock timed out

How can I fix this?

I think an entity timer feature will be added (at least with integration of Fenix Mod, which will happen later.) which should fix this.

Hockeykid is going to publish a feature plan for PB after v1.8 is released.

I believe he only has a couple more weapons bugs to fix before this will happen. I'm checking this thread like every 5 minutes at the moment.

Hey guys. I just wanted to report a bug. When I have a builded game and want to set the resolution higher in the "setup.ini", then the game crashes at start.
It only works in 1024x768...

I've already raised this bug in the old PB thread so Hockeykid should be aware of it.

I'm hoping this would automatically be fixed as a result of the new FPSC v116 setup.ini command to have a built game default to the players desktop resolution.

This should be captured as part of the beta testing for v1.8 as we need this mod to be compatibility with higher resolutions naturally.

Any update on the remaining bugs you are working on prior to release?

I have a problem in PB where I can't even display my own custom hud.
All it does is flash through all the stock fpsc huds and stops.
What could be going wrong?

Would it not be possible to build the map in the original resolution and change the resolution of the built game? I am guessing that change should still have an effect like modifying scripts in a built game does. I hope this helps

Try this

You're telling the script to show your hud then immediately fadeout correctly, but your not allowing the hud to show again because you switched states.

Make sure you have the motion blur shader activated, then set up a trigger zone and with the scripts that came with PBUM, find one that says motionblur and make it the trigger zone's main script.
PS @ zeza the script doesn't work......

There is a serious problem with the PB v.18a release.

I installed a clean FPSC then v116 update then PB as per the instructions but it crashes when I try and test or build a game. See attached.

Off the bat on my first test I found 2 bugs

1. When you start a test game, I had to fire the weapon I had assigned the player to be able to move

2. when using the replaceweap command, it really freaks out. movie attached

The 'press left mouse button' to start test game bug was introduced in the official v116 update not PB. It doesn't happen when you build a game fortunately.

This is a generic V1.16 bug but does not happen in a built game. (I made a note to myself to fix this but forgot)

I had found this bug to but according to ply it is because the replace weapon command is only meant to be used with weapons that have the same animation number.

Have you updated "Version History..txt" in Project blue v1.8a\Project blue v1.8a? Cuz its the old one with last log of v1.7 final release.

A feature like that would be incredible for multiplayer Have a few cameras set up around the level and then some screens showing them all like CCTV

I was getting about 45-50FPS average on 1.7, and now on 1.8 I'm getting about 27-30.

Yep, I'm having the same problem, FPS drop of about 10.

Your signature has been erased by a mod - Please reduce it to 600x120 maximum size

It may be because you have full screen shaders enabled. If you remove the Mod.ini file, it should increase performance by a bit.
