It's really nice Mazz! The arms look awesome!

You could do a TMNT style staff/stick type thing. http://z.about.com/d/kidstvmovies/1/0/W/7/tmnt010.jpg

While most of the thing looks good, what stands out to me are the arms, the deltoid, bicep and triceps in particular. You could check your anatomy on those areas.

ahh BAD news, i just went to open it and the file now crashes zbrush when i go to open it, brilliant, its done this once before with an older model, however that model is now openable so i don't know how to fix it or if it just does it by itself, and advise on this would help, annoying i was just about to back it up as seperate .obj files as well...

Mazz426, awesome work you are doing. Care to send me an email? I might have something of interest to you, like a back door into the game development industry. You never know who's looking over my shoulder when I browse these forums.

not yet, i'm gonna have to get a faster defragmentor, last time i did it on the default it took 83 hours, i can't wait that long again, for now, i'm starting again, but this'll allow me to add say toes and fingers.

david i've sent you an email

Models look real cool and anatomically pleasing. Unfortunately I was never able to fully get into Zbrush because my trial ran out. I envy people who can dish the dough out for it, or the students who get the discount.

yeah i never managed anything with the trile, after a while its really intuative but at first its really difficult to get used to, if your wanting to try something similar out you should download the mudbox trile, i think there is one, its autodesks attempt at a zbrush type of program

Mudbox fails me. I downloaded the trial on my old laptop and my graphics card wasn't good enough, I try it on my new laptop and it doesn't work with intel graphics cards Autodesk should stick to normal modeling programs.

Some questions ill do them here

Fps Creator
-) Are you still using TGC's software, FPS Creator?
-)What happened to your other games?

On-Topic
-)Your models seems good!, can they be animated?
-)Do they have Bones?
-)Do you recommend Zbrush for 3d modeling? its hard to learn?

thanks for the comments guys

DarkJames@

i dont really use fpsc anymore,i tend to try and transfer all my LP models into it though as practice. i kinda just stopped working on games. about the animation, i would animate them if i could get my head around the blender animator. zbrush is a fantastic program and just like any other if you just follow some tuts and work up from your base, then you'll be fine. i would however recommend teaming it with another program, i use blender for closing holes, making bases and what not

Looks alright, but is it supposed to be a zombie hand? The pose is wierd and there are lots of very noticable strokes on the palm

after looking back and fourth from my hand to your hand model, there's one strange thing I noticed, your hand looks like it has a flat palm, while mine looks concave (like it's holding a semi-flat ball). most noticeably is the muscle connecting to the thumb. it seems wide, but not thick. one other think I just noticed about the thumb (maybe its just the perspective) but it looks a little too rotated counter-clockwise, no matter how hard i try, I can't seem to get my thumb to be in that position.

:huf: alright, now that i'm done pointing out what I notice that could be better, here's some things I like about it. I like the back of the hand, the tendons seem to be just far enough out, but not too far. the wrist looks pretty nice to me, it has good creases, and tendon placements.

so, that's just my "two cents"

I hope you know what I'm talking about

Well, what I would love to see is it in a natural skin tone, instead of the zombie green, because if I focus, it looks like a perfect normal hand. But if I just look it looks so much like a zombie xD..
But its a really good hand.
