Just finished downloading and all I can say is wow. I've been going through the media and it's just plain awesome. Seeing the bus has given me an evil idea involving DBP, Newton, and bond1's zombies.

If you get mad and want to type something nasty about another person do this-Type what you want to say in the box then press ctrl-a and hit delete then type what you should say.

I cant find the doors.

in the fps files they are in

entitybank\MagicFPS\Objects\

but there's no MagicFPS file...

I suppose that this is where I'm supposed to put some witty one liner. Well...sorry to disappoint.

Soory, did'nt realize I'd left that out. I never really intended to keep the doors, that's probably why I did'nt check them.

If you want them though, here are the files.

Please note: If you do use these doors you must use them on one of the standard walls (Plainwood Rooms) that are included. The custom segments where not made to handle the standard doors and windows. I did this on purpous to achieve a different look.

This is what I mean...

[img][/img]

using the plain wall segment with the new custom one helps give more depth, and lets you have a door that appears to set back into the wall. You can then add some trim as shown above, and there you go.

I've developed a new philosophy... I only dread one day at a time.

Thanks Mike. Say, if you would'nt care, can you go ahead and add the door files to your download? Just in case folks may want to use these instead of they're own.

Pain: Nice screenshot. I think it needs another soft light in the middle of the scene though!

Already done Dale. I placed the files.zip (renamed to doors.zip) into part 3 already I heard this voice in my head, and suddenly was filled with this need to perform the task. You must have been using the Force

Big thanx.
Only Honda is copyrighted trademark (so everyone must retexture this) and it is a pity about quality of texture (too low resolution, 300 dpi will be HQ).

Sorry for the delay, I've been very busy trying to make a living, but I'll have these posted to your area of fpsFREE this weekend. Thanks so much for all you do. We really do appreciate you. Of course you are removing all of our excuses for not being able to make a quality game!

If BlackFox has these already repaired with the existing fixes, I'd like to download them from him to re-post since I'm really short of time to fix them myself. I hope you won't mind BF.

Brian.

Thanks my friends. I really hope this stuff can help out with your projects.

And I do apologize for any flaws that might show up now and again. It's an ominus task to put these huge packs together. When your dealing with literally hundreds of models, it's not hard for a few things to get overlooked.

Hope you can forgive me, And please know, I do the best I can, to get this stuff done right for you guys.

I'm going to take some time now, to try and learn more about scripting, and other aspects of developement for FPSC. Then, when I get good enough, I want to try and put a nice pack together for "The Game Creators".

Here's a shot of the Chopper for the "M.A.S.H." pack that will be next up, before the final Sci-Fi pack gets done.

Thanks again, for your support, and again, A big "Thanks!" to all those great guys who helped put this beast together.

@CP - its definitely not you who has to thank the community for patience or anything else and there as well is no need to apologize for anything

Your packs are great, every single one - and every game *creator* worth his salt should be able to correct a wrong texture or mesh path in an .fpe file on his own.

The chopper looks terrific btw - as all your models do.

Hey Buddy, Thanks. It's still pretty high, around 2000 or so, but I'm pretty sure if I decrease the depth of the Geosphere I can cut that in half. The Globe is actually 2 separate parts, inside, and out. And thats where half the total polies is.

The problem I need to fix, is getting the transparent globe to display properly in-game.

It totally vanishes if it's part of the whole model, but if I make it separately it works fine. Which sucks because, I was hoping to make an animated version with a low-poly pilot that could follow waypoints.

I'm going to start on the trucks as soon as I get this one done.

Try making the globe a seperat entity, for transparency issues. that was my idea. I might do an ambulance if you want, I love hawkeye...
