I trust all the mods. They are mods for a reason. But I feel closer to some mods than others. KeithC is the mod that seems like has an answer for anything. Nickydude seems like the joking funny guy. Thraxas... well, is a little both... Fred is in the same class with Keith.

I've had some rough times with a few mods. I've gotten slapped a few times, Perma-banned and then Un-Perma-banned before. But through all of it, Keith, I have always seemed to get along with you. So Goodbye my fellow friend. Its been nice talking to you.

Thraxas has agreed to handle it; he has me as an adviser, should he need me. I will be back around when it gets close to the VBOTB time though. I haven't updated the criteria for it yet; but it will be forthcoming.

I understand where you are coming from; I had difficulty making the decision, since I view the BOTB as "my baby" in a way. I'm happy to see how it's grown over the years.

The problem I'm having, is that I have a limited amount of time that I can spend on computer-related things at this time. So if I'm to make any headway at all; I need to limit or eliminate some things. Moderating the FPSC Boards and the BOTB took HUGE amounts of time out of my day, and are two of the main reasons I'm still far behind in my game art/dev skills. I'm playing catch up at this point. I remember a time when Jon Fletcher and I were at the same level, skill-wise. That is obviously not the case today!

hmmm, sure the BOTB didn't take up that much and it must've been great fun! I mean yeah it would have taken up quite a bit but must be nothing to the time need to moderate the boards? I'm not asking you to moderate again? Just father BOTB, or (more friendly to you and keeps annoying simpletons like me happy) give the option to ask you or Thraxas regarding BOTB.

I'm going to have to take a pass on that. Who knows what the future holds though? I'm expecting a large influx of entries in the coming months, when it gets closer to the VBOTB time. Downloading/Playing each entry, then either accepting it and setting up the entry in the BOTB, or not accepting it and giving some valid critique and criticism takes a good deal of time in itself. Multiply that by numerous requests and I've taken away a legitimate chunk of my development time, hurting a project in which I have partners in.

Again; I understand that I was the one "beacon" for the BOTB for years, and I acknowledge that it's difficult to accept me not being an active part in it. Perhaps the future may see fit to give me some added hours in the day; as I said, who knows? But for now, it's just not feasible.

I appreciate that you care enough to bring it up in such a strong manner though. Shows I was doing something right all these years.
