So we will have to use our own IP's to host a lobby?

Yes, you have to for any FPSC game but the IP Addresses aren't visible to the public with FPSC IP.

Hi kiiddo, have you received your licence information email yet?
If not then you'll have to wait for the system to send it out to you and then it should work fine.

If it still fails to validate your account then it's likely to be your internet connection as no maintenance or database work is being done at the current time.

If you need any more assistance then contact me: http://support.fpscip.com

Exactly where at on that page?

All I see is this.. Before and after ordering a license key..

I don't want to risk buying another license key to get the download link of FPSCIP.

You get that because you've purchased the licence key using a different Paypal email address other than the one you entered when you registered your account.
Therefore the FPSC IP system can't link the purchase to your user account.

You can have this fixed by emailing me from the contact email address you entered when creating an account and confirming that you want the purchase linked to your account.
In the email you must give me both the PayPal email address you registered your account with, the PayPal email address you used to purchase the licence and the PayPal transaction ID so that I can confirm your identity

Also, next time, please use the support ticket system for any problems and help: http://support.fpscip.com

*sigh* Yes, contact me via email or the support site so the thread doesn't get filled though. You must provide the PayPal transaction ID if you've bought FPSC IP already.
If anyone else wants their accounts editing then I'm available to edit them for the next hour only, after that I'm going to be busy.

lol yea I hear ya

Quick question knxrb, for future reference (I feel like a news reporter) do you ever plan on creating a co-op mode? or possibly a multi-player mode where DAI is incorporated?

So, I'm a new user to FPSC IPv4.0 - bought it yesterday, waiting on some settings (Dedicated Database) to be completed.

A simple question; just to clarify.

If it's using a dedicated database, my players can create their own accounts (provided I use the Accounts API on my website), and their accounts 'should' only work for my database, is that correct? Looking at the table structure I'd say that's a safe assumption but wanting to confirm. As oppose to the accounts being global for multiple games.

Thanks

Hi, your dedicated database request will be handled shortly
All accounts made work across all FPSC IP games, the achievements, game ranks and some other features remain unqiue to your game.

Notice to all existing customers

A new version {v1.0.0.1} of FPSC IP v4.0 has just been released.
This version contains a few bug fixes that makes everything run smoother and also a couple of other small upgrades and tweaks for 64 bit operating systems.
The automatic DB setup has been temporarily disabled and no 'large features' have been added with this upgrade.

To download the new version, login to your game developer account at http://dev.fpscip.com and click the download link in the 'Download FPSC IP' tab.

You can see if you have upgraded already by looking at the bottom of the FPSC IP Studio v4.0 login screen.
You will see the below if you have upgraded:

I've been watching this thread for long and have been considering buying this product. The problem is that it actually gives your multiplayer game so many oppotunities to be a useful multiplayer game. However I am really disappointed that even tough this actually touch a lot on the code you haven't considered developing team play of any kind into this product. I really think more people will swarm to this product because that's actually the last thing I could see that this product really needs because it has so many opportunities but it is missing the essence of teamwork when it comes to playing the game with your friends.

Currently FPSC IP v4.0 has a mod out for FPSC v1.15 and a v1.18 version will be released once the v1.18 source is complete though.
Some X9 mods may have added FPSC IP v4.0 support but you'll have to ask the mod developers if they have or not.

And for FPSC X10, Mystic Mod currently supports FPSC IP v4.0.

It's just a security measure to prevent users activating their copies on multiple computers or re-distributing their keys.

I presume you're asking how to build a game without using your build code so that you can test it out and make sure it works before using the 'Final Build' option and using your build code up?

If so then the 'Test Build' option is what you need to use.

At the moment I've stopped working on that as I'm focusing on a couple of other things at the moment.

You have to edit the '.fla' file to add your API key, then export '.swf' file to put on your website.

but do not have a server? because I did a test, and when you start the game you must put the name and should reselect a server with IP visible.

That acts as a launcher.

You're talking about the default FPSC screens?
In order to have those bypassed automatically you must use either the FPSC IP mod or another mod with FPSC IP v4.0 support for your games.
