Gencheff: Very nice indeed. Those will be an incredible addition to this project. Many Thanks Brother!

Poloflece Games: Hi Bro, your versions of the V2 will need to be fixed (I see what you were talking about). The positioning, and scaling is way off. ( It places between two levels in the editor, and if it is scaled to the proper size, will make it very difficult to get it positioned correctly in a game level).

As I pointed out though in the e-mail I sent, "Starmind" is also working on a V2. I don't mind adding more than one version of something to the pack, but we have to make sure it works properly before we do.

So if you would like to work on these, and get them fixed, I'll be more than happy to add them in. Thanks so much for your desire to contribute, and don't be discouraged. They look good, but still need a bit of tweaking to get them right. Thanks!

VENT: Cool! Another nice plane from you. Many thanks!

I've got this done, and am working on a few other sandbags and a guard tower that should be climbable.

Hey Kieth, I know. Everyone is doing some great work, and the quantity of models, and the enthusiasm everyone is showing on this one is truly incredable! We truly are the "best" community on the web IMO! And we have some of the best developers around.

And I want to say a Big "Thank You!" to everyone who has, and is planning on contributing to this Amazing Community Pack. This will be the best yet, without a doubt!

Cheers to you all!!!

I'll focus on some props for now, until I get some inspiration for the weapons (I was thinking a UMP45 for starters)

Okay, when I get the time I'll get them ready. They're not textured or amazing models but better than nothing right?

Awesome SPAS, VENT!

Seems like this would be a good reason to finish this:

Finished UV mapping it, time to texture it.

Drats, you beat me to it xplosys.
Anyways, I have a small army of models ready for this, but I want to do something bigger. Is there a specific gun or entity or segment that you REALLY want to see in this?

Attached is my first model ever. It looks like a trained chimpanzee modeled it but it finally worked

I gave up on modeling so often (sure! I made a textured grass plane, a shelve and a barrel here and there) that I already thought I would never learn it.

I must practice...I'm so excited...maybe one day I can create my own characters

xplosys: That is just plain beautiful! Thanks Brian. I sent you an e-mail earlier today my friend. Have a look when you get time brother. Let me know if it can be done. Thanks again. Oh yeah, check your paypal as well. Love the new apps buddy!

Design Runner: Is this big enough for you? This would look great flying overhead in a war torn city level.

Wolf: Looks darn good for a first model!

By any chance is that zeplin made out of lead? (no joke it kinda looks like it) lol.

Would I be allowed to put the download link for this on my website. I would credit everyone (I'm sure there'd be a readme) and all that stuff.

And I could use an Idea

Nice wolf, models look clean and the texture is good. Only crit is to clone the 'sight' polys and invert them.

@Wolf,
You make me sick! My first model was a box. I guess by tomorrow you'll have figured out the animation and pickup.

@Cosmic Prophet,
Yeah, I see what you did you little son of a gun. Check your PayPay. I'll look at that today and get back to you from home tonight and send the camo net.

I love these community packs. I'd love to do more but I'm so happy that business has picked up so I can't stop working!

I see...then the inside of the sight is no longer invisible I'll see if I find out how to do this! Thanks

@Xplosys: I don't get it either...five years of not getting a decent shelve done in a 3d Model program and suddenly, out of nowhere, I can do it

That would be great

Poloflece Games: He dose'nt know it yet but I'm gonna have our good friend Blackfox host the primary download on his site, and I'm sure he would'nt care to let you link to it. The credits will be included in the read me file.

(But then again, He probably does know. He's a crafty fellow, and I think he's got my house bugged).

Oh yeah, I was being serious, I totally want to add a "lead zepplin" to the pack. I'll do it if no one else wants to fool with it though. Oh, and a lead zepplin "can" fly. The Mythbusters proved it!

MiG-15 sent.

Does anyone want to rig the shotgun? I have it crudely rigged to Cyborg's stock animations/hands, but it would be better if it looked good...

Also, Wolf... you learn too fast -.- Looks really good, especially for you first few models

I was thinking about making throwing knives that would work similarly to the grenades (except without the explosion). If anyone's seen The Expendables, then a bit like those throwing knives.

I'm still thinking about it though.

I also thought about Semtex and flashbangs (that someone could script) and those sort of square things with handles on that they stick to doors before they blow them open and gun down the hostage takers inside like Rambo.

Also, smaller things like detonators/triggers, radios, beacons and so on. Helmets, headphones, binoculars, parachutes, rucksacks, canteens, tasers, dart guns, combat watches, PDAs.

"Going down like a lead balloon" is an common idiom.

And as for MythBusters

Which is awesome, by the way.

Well, i emailed Chumblasoft and asked them weather i could use my Milkshaoe key on my laptop also and surprisingly they agreed. So Im back in the modeling scene with my first ever characters. Since this is Modern Warfare themed, I thought a Ghost/SWAT guy would be most appropriate...

I will try and include Jungle Camo, Winter Camo and Desert Camo and also 2-3 different character variations If anyone has any decent character rigging tutorials I would GREATLY appreciate it as for some reason i cannot get to Bond1's site to DL his... Thanks!

Images:
Only have one for now, got to run, but as soon as I get back home I will take a few more screens and post them (got a Winter Camo and Jungle Camo for you guys )

C&C is appreciated

Cheers,
Anayar
