This was made in wings. I actually finished the model's feet and back-mounted shield generator, so this is an older screenshot.
This is my first model made in Wings - tell me what you think:

I haven't concluded whether or not I'll actually be using this model in a game, but I enjoy 3D art anyways .

EDIT - Yes, it's main body doubles as it's head - it's kind of a hulking cyclops.

Thanks a bunch... I pretty much finished the modelling. Now I'm going to attempt to use a demo of Lithuwrap to texture it. Here's the latest screenie at:

I haven't quite figured that out yet. The bot was actually inspired by a short story I wrote many years ago. It was a combat mech, and had the ability to release an interesting selection of weaponry from it's cannons located in-between it's claws. Quite frankly, I modelled it more out of a sense of art than for making a game, but who knows, it could make an interesting platform character...
