Ok "Cloud of Crows Studios" i put together some floor based
decals for "dirtying the place up".
They are somewhat simple and i will make more of them
in the future. (hopefully more profesional looking ones)
but this could be of some use for now.
They look like this.

And can be downloaded from here.
http://home.holmsund.org/noldor/model/decals.zip

@Samoz83
I am still doing the Soda and snack machines. i just took a pause
in them to make this.

Its nice to see that you like them.
BTW : I always wanted to use "asfalt" in my maps and so i
added a asfalt texture. I also added a new grass texture
because i was not wery fond of the old one. (just my taste.)
They look like this. (ingame screenshot)

And you can download these two texture here. (with fpe files)
http://home.holmsund.org/noldor/model/grasfalt.zip
Now you to can have Asfalt in your maps to.
(Both of the textures were photograped by me about
2 years ago.)

Wow you waited a whole 15 minutes to post this:

Quote: "are you gonna make a tank with the script?"

and then 1 more minute for this:

Quote: "answer!!!"

You know you're acting a bit like an ass right?

Noldor is doing this for free and believe me damn few people with his talent would be willing to sit down and do such high quality requests so quickly for people for free. Please don't make him regret offering his skills to the comunity by DEMANDING something.

Ask nice, be patient, and accept the answer.
Don't ruin it for others.

Guy, my guess is that you don't have the legal rights to redistribute the model in the first place. But, I could be wrong.

@Guy: If you are refering to the alien character I made that is making your system run slow, make sure you are resizing the texture map, the one included is very large, for FPSC you should resize it down to a maximum resolution of 512x512.

@Noldor, sorry it's been a day or two but about that gate. Heres a screen of the setting:

I need a way for the tank and car to have gotten in this closed courtyard type place, so I don't know what kinda gates there are, but I just see a big wooden gate that can open both ways. It doesn't have to be locked or anything. Thanks for the effort noldor.

@Guy
stop hijacking my Thread.
1 . You can't distribute these models that you are
sending around. They cost money and are a product of someone
elses hard work. If anyone here likes the urban models that GUY is
posting, (illegaly) i encourage that you buy them from their creator. Here http://www.garagegames.com/news/7109
2 . I wont make a drivable vehicle for FPSC because it can not
be done. (end of story)
3 . I don't like you spamming this forum with redicelous requests
that cant even be done.
(you can't have drivable vehicles.)
4 . And stop asking how to rescale stuff and other questions refering
to FPSC. (Create your own thread and ask questions there)
5. Stop posting screenshots of when you get my models to work
in your game. I have already posted screenshots of my work. There
is no need to see it again.
6. You are destroying something good for everyone.
7. post your own stuff in your own thread. (Don't hijack others)

@Everyone else.
I might have to create a new thread later on. (this one has turned into something of a mess)
And to all that are waiting for new material.
I have not forgoten about you. (i took the day of )

Hey Nolder i am pretty good at Using FPSC but first:

(1) do you do animation
(2) What program do you use to make your models
(3) How do i make my own segment.

-Thanks

I don't do tutorials.
I make models for people
on request. (i use Lightwave 8)
This far i have only
experimentet with segments and i
am about to finish my first one
soon. I can do animated models but
i haven't tried getting them into
FPSC yet.
YOu will just have to figure that
stuff out for your selfe. sry

1 . If you have put everything in the correct folders they
should appear in your game.
2 . I have not made an icon for FPSC so when you select
my entitys in the entity list they should all look
like a brain in a jar. (but they are labeled with their names)
3 . All the parts of my models are kept in their specific folders
in the zip archive. So when you have extracted the zip file it
should be real easy to put all the bits and pieces in the right
places.
(It could be easy to mess it upp by just throwing the models into
the meshbank. You have to keep the subfolders from the zip archive)

Well good luck "SmartGuy"

@Noldor

You have artistic flair! very nice work!
Can you make a steel girder that is 'crossbraced' ie like an electricty pylon, i have made a pylon but its a solid structure, round tubes i would rather have square crossbraces. I am not going to give up though i am still going to try and do it myself (the best way to learn).
Thanks for your contribution to the FPSC community your a STAR

Thanks "GraPhiX".

Sorry everyone for bringing this up so late but i have decided
that my models/segments (including skins) can only be used in Freeware
games and applications. They are not to be used in licensed games that are sold.
I hope that you all respect this decision and keep developing great games.

(it feels wrong that someone would make money of the work i put
into making models for people that can't model for themselves)

Fair comment.
FPSC at the moment is for creating freeware games, but there will be a commercial license available with the release of V1 i think if you feel so strongly about the freeware issue you should consider charging a nominal fee for your services once V1 is released.
Most users will adhere to your request but there are some who would take advantage of your good nature.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
1 . Is "The" Dirt-tunnel corridor that i have been working on.
2 . Is A oil lamp that you can use to light up the tunnels.
3 . Is the soda machine that i promised "Samoz83" earlier.
Expect them sometime soon.

Open the FPE files that i made in Notepad.
There are one line there that points to the X model file
and there are one line that points to the TGA texture file.
If the X/Tga files are in the exact same locations as it said
in those two lines then that model will work.
There is a separate FPE file for every entity. (one for every decal)

If that does not make it work then there is something wrong with
either your hardware or your software (FPSC)
Well i can't help you more then that.
I would recomend that you start your own thread
if you want more help with getting cusom models
to work.
Good luck "SmartGuy"

Bummer

Well I respect your decision even if I don't agree with it so I won't use the models in my commercial game idea, but I hope you'll reconsider or think about an option for a small licensing fee - maybe like $10-20 for the rights to use the pack of stuff you have put together (or better yet do some custom work for pay )

Anyway thx for your work Noldor

Noldor this is along the lines of a sign - could you make a large lcd type of screen for a wall with maybe some space pics on it and some stats

like you might see in star trek or or sg1 or something like that

I have a control room and that would look good

I already have one of those lying around.
I will post it later on.

@eek
i saw your post about that gate.
I can make that gate for you NP if you want.
Do you intend to have it open and close like
a door or is it for decoration. i don't think
a gate of that size would open and close any good.
I could make it static and slightly open so you
could walk through.
If you never intended the player to exit
through the gate and it was only for decoration then
i could make it static and closed. (i am a little confused)
