hehe yeah its a "feature" thats what I thought Its hardly worth getting worked up about. A I said, I think stylistically the water looks good as a single colour anyway, it fits the cartoon look

Thanks man; I don't plan on getting too worked up about it TBH - I'm just going to leave it as it is, sorry all.

Still working on the game, actually added a bunch of new stuff tonight

What's even scarier, is the fact Katie is in her sadistic 'I'm gonna kill you' pose j/k

Hey Drew, I'm just stopping by to congratulate you on making what is currently my favorite (and possibly the best I've seen) DBPro game... nice job on the entire thing.

However I got it to crash a lot too, first when I completed story mode and then tried to load a puzzle level, then a few more random times after that.

Also, I know it would massively change the control scheme, but for games like this, I'd rather see controls where: up moves you away from the camera, down moves you toward, and left/right move you perpendicular to it. Perhaps the mouse could be used to rotate the camera... of course this isn't necessary, just what I would have preferred...

Aaanyway, great job.

Those are the controls I'm using in the platformer I'm making, and it would be something to think about in the future, as it allows for an amazingly comfortable and easy control shceme. But as it would also affect the gameplay as a whole, I suggest leaving that idea for a later project.

Kenmo2, I realise alot of people prefer this, and to be honest so do I, but it's very late in the game to change this, sorry. For Dumbo & Cool 2 this might be a way to go.

And thanks for the comments.

Thanks: both of your line numbers throw up the loading bar, which I've just removed for the next version.

Try going to Continue again, the problem seems to be random.

Um, Dumbo & Cool might have a hard time on the daily show - they're only 1'1" tall and Katie and I are 5'8" and 5'9", so they would just look... like, you know, really small.

Drew takes some time off.

I supose Dumbo and cool could have a video interview on the daily show... or G4... If they're conserned about size.

Alright team, it's the final stretch! (ie: on sale on Tuesday 15th / Thursday 17th at latest)

The game itself is 100% done, just working on stability at the moment.

Testing!

If anybody is interested in being a final tester, please reply here. I've got 5 places open, besides Mike S and VanB who I'll be contacting as well. System specs please, and bear in mind that they'll need to be fluent in playing the game already and have about 3-5 hours free time to get through the entire game.

Thanks in advance,
Drew

I didn't saw that you could just answer here, so i sended you an email

anyway, i got really much sparetime so nothing will prevent me for testing the game alot.

If you read my email, i posted some links to some projects i have made. That is mostly just to show you that i just know a bit about debugging and all that Since i have been trough alot of bugs in my own games/program i may be able to find some.

May I volunteer to test the heck out your game?

I have quite alot of time in-between waiting for a camcorder video to be rendered into DVD format (approximately 65 hours acording to NeroVision) and I generally have alot of free time availible. (as I have just finished an english essay and I feel like playing a game)

My specs are
2.5GHZ AMD Athlon XP
256 RAM (lower than average - good to test. Not that I'm biased )
Geforce FX 5600 128MB

If you consider letting me test (assuming D&C aren't too hurt after my last late-night pizza testing/killing marathon) here's my email:

bulk@NOSPAMlightningstudios.co.uk (remove teh NOSPAM bits)

Thanks either way, and don't stress if you dislike me in some way and can't let me test I'm a very easy-to-hate kind of person

EDIT: Why did I give you my email? Well, if you need to send it, send via that. If your not sending, then please don't think I'm being rude, and just ignore my stupidity.

Sure David, count yourself in.

Candidly, Drew G, I don't feel, judging from posts I've read that you'd be up to fully testing a game, I'm sorry. It involves alot more than simply playing through it and I'd prefer to opt for people whom have either been involved with this project since the beginning in one way or another, or who have got a little more experience of common problems in games.

Thanks all the same!

Again, the emails go out when all the positions are filled.

So, we've got Peter_, David R, VanB, Mike S, Myself, Robert Cameron, Peter Wilson and The Nerd. 2 places to go.
